Jade Country Quilters are based in Hokitika at By Hoki Quilts. We meet every Wednesday between 10a.m. and 3p.m. Birthdays are celebrated with birthday blocks, monthly classes are held also we donate a community quilt to help others less fortunate than ourselves plus, we hold an exhibition of our work every two years. Timaru Patchwork and Quilters.  We are a group of about 30 mambers who pay $30 a year for membership.  We meet at a church hall on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, as well as the 4th Saturday of the month at members homes.  We have a varied programme which includes Round Robins, challenges, fabric swaps, workshops, etc. Every second year (even years) we have a major exhibition.  We'd love to welcome anyone on their travels.  Contact mgbutler@xtra.co.nz

Hamilton, NZ
Waikato Patchworkers and Quilters Guild meet every 2nd Saturday Feb-Dec at 12.30pm at the St Albans Church Hall, Chartwell, Hamilton . Annual membership is $25.00. We have 160 members. At each guild has a guest speaker, Merchant, Raffles, Block of the month draw, technique Time, Sit and Stitch group and an extensive library. We hold classes and a monthly Friday Frolics on a Friday evening. We hold shows every year, alternating between two types.Melanie Coleman chris.melanie@clear.net.nz

The Australian Quilters Association meets the first Monday of each month (except January) in the Uniting Church Hall, Valonia Avenue, Surrey Hills. At meetings we have local and interstate speakers. Our newsletter is published monthly. We have 300+ members. We hold biennial Exhibitions, and Symposia, and make regular donations of quilts to needy groups in the community. Visitors are welcome. We are a group of stitchers who meet regularly on a Tuesday at Gippstitch in Warragul to stitch up a storm, enjoy classes and workshops, take fabric trips and make quilts for charity and enjoy each others company with well organised retreat weekends.
