Abbotsford Quilters' Guild. From September til June we meet on the second Tuesday of the month. The meetings are held at 10:00 am in the Ross Road Community Church, one block North on Ross Road at Fraser Hwy. We also have an informal group meeting at 6:00 pm at the same location. Island Quilters Our guild has been around for 26 years now and has between 150 to 175 active members. Starting in September, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month at Brechin United Church. We have two meetings. The afternoon one starts at 1:00 pm. and the evening at 7:00 pm. Doors open half an hour before. Parksville Quilt House Quilters Guild. The Guild was founded in 1979 and grew from a small group of students who attended quilt classes at the Quilt House in Parksville. The guild is the second oldest in the Province and it was first on Vancouver Island. Members come from all over the island. Our members vary in age from young to seniors, with several of the founding members still in attendance. All levels welcome - from beginner to experience quilters. Pincushion Quilt Guild, in Peachland, BC, has about 25 members who pay $60 a year in dues. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, excluding July and August, between the hours of 9:00am and 4 pm. Members bring their sewing machines, hand work or cutting projects along as we have a full day. We work on both group (charity) and personal projects, learn about quilting techniques in mini-workshops,and generally support each other as we strive to become better quilters. - Penticton

We are the Shuswap Quilters Guild. We are 96 strong. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month in the Catholic Church. We have the block draw, lets' make a block a month and secret pal. We make quilts for the safe house and recently made trauma quilts for the RCMP - Squamish.
Squamish Valley Quilters' Guild. Established in 1996, the Squamish Valley Quilters' Guild is a non-profit group. Along with our regular guild activities, we happily produce quilts for various charities in the Squamish area. Each meeting includes a brief discussion of business, show and share, and an educational programme with techniques for both beginner and advanced quilters. The executive also holds separate business meetings. Outside of the regular guild meetings, we have workshops and retreats. We have between 30 and 40 members and hold monthly meetings. - Tri-Cities.
BC. Blue Mountain Quilters Guild. We currently have 100 members who pay $30 a year in dues. We meet at 7 pm on the first Friday of the month at Wilson Center in Port Coquitlam (starting Jan 2006). We have Block of the Month, Fat Quarter draw, 50/50 draw, Round Robin, Spring and Fall Retreats, drop-in day once a month, donation quilts for various organizations in our community, and programs at each meeting.
