Fort Irwin
The High Desert Stitchers Quilt Guild is made up of U.S. Army spouses
stationed at Fort Irwin National Training Center. They meet on
the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Base Chapel at 6:30. They sponsor
an annual quilt show the 2nd Saturday of February each year. A guild
quilt is made each year to earn money for base charities. There is a
mini quilt exchange each May and two blocks exchanges each year. Classes
are held frequently and secret sister exchanges each month. Fort Irwin
is located 31 miles from the city of Barstow.

The goal of Pacific Piecemakers Quilt Guild is to promote quilting along the Sonoma/Mendocino coast. PPQG offers monthly educational programs, lectures, and workshops for quilters of all skill levels as well as opportunities for members to give back to their community using those skills. Monthly meetings feature programs to inspire quilters in all aspects of quilting ranging from traditional to contemporary art quilt techniques and development of textile and wearable art. Lectures and workshops are presented by world-famous quilters as well as our local talent. The Silicon Valley Modern Quilt Guild (SVMQG for short) is the Silicon Valley chapter of The Modern Quilt Guild. Santa Rosa Quilt Guild was
established in 1976. The guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to
preserving this country’s quilting heritage through the education and
enhancement of quilt-making skills. Our members share a love of quilting and
all things quilt-related and welcome those who have similar interests. In 25
years, we have increased from a small group of founding members to more than
150, and are still growing! Annual dues are $30 per calendar year. New
members may join at any time during the year; dues are prorated. Membership
includes a newsletter, access to the largest Guild library in the world,
free admission to all programs and activities and the opportunity for

The Sierra Quilt Guild of Tuolumne County meets the 2nd Monday of every month in Sonora, CA. While meetings are usually at the Senior Center, 540 Greenley Rd, Sonora, CA 95370, COVID has brought on the need to be flexible. Our group ranging between 100-180 quilters meets to share our love of quilting and support each other with friendship, ideas, guest speakers, challenges, quilting camps, and workshops. Members of our “Community Quilts” program create and donate quilts to those in our community in need of comfort or warmth; while members of “Quilts of Honor” create patriotic quilts to thank veterans for their service. Our Annual Quilt Show is always the 3rd weekend in September (usually at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora, CA), and culminates in a drawing for our current Opportunity Quilt. We are a group of about 90 like-minded quilters gathering for fellowship, education, lots of sewing, and philanthropy.
