BBT (Building Blocks Together) Quilt Guild meets the 2nd Friday of the month at 7:00pm. Meetings are held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church 154 Meadow St. Bristol, CT. Goodwives Quilters meets every Tuesday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Darien Historical Society in Darien We have about 70 members, many very experienced ladies with quilting. We do many projects, including service projects of quilts for AIDS, HOSPICE, etc. About 45 members all skill levels. Very congenial group. Speakers, workshops, & some day trips. Many service projects e.g. NNIC Unit at Stamford Hospital, Birthright, Norwalk, Veteran’s, of Rocky Hill, CT, Malta House, Norwalk, Veterans New Haven, AmeriCares, Aids, Hospice, Breast Cancer Groups incl. Easton
Connecticut Piecemakers, started 1975, 260 members currently. Meet at Jesse Lee Methodist Church, Easton, CT second Monday of the month 9-noon. Very active guild. Guest speakers, quilt retreats, many community projects, workshops. guild show every two years.

East Lyme
Clamshell Quilt Guild We have about 212 members who pay $30/year in dues. We meet at 6:30 pm on the third Wednesday of the month (subject to change due to holidays-see our website). We meet at Temple Emanu-El in Waterford, CT.

Ellington
Ellington Country Quilters meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Ellington Congregational Church, 7pm

Enfield
Enfield Quilters, a chapter of the Greater Hartford Quilt Guild, meets on the first Tuesday of each month from March through December.  Our meetings are held at the Hazardville United Methodist Church, 330 Hazard Avenue (Route 190), Enfield CT, and new members are always welcome.  Doors open at 6:30 PM and the meetings begin at 7 PM.  If you are interested in joining, feel free to drop in to any meeting, or contact our Membership Chairperson, mary@mshaw.com for more information.  See the Enfield Quilters chapter page on ghqg.org for our scheduled events.  Current as of September 2, 2023.

Greenwich
Common Threads meets once a month at the Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Rd, Cos Cob, CT on a Saturday, from 9 am – 4 pm.  There is no set date, so check with the contact persons or the Library to find the next meeting. Bring your own sewing machine and project or knitting/crocheting/embroidery. There are no dues. Biennial quilt exhibit at the library on the odd years, often in November.

Guilford
Shoreline CT Modern Quilt Guild
We are an active guild that meets on the first Thursday of each month at 32 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437 Guilford. We meet at 6:30 for social time, and from 7:00 to 9:00 for our monthly meeting. We are a “modern” guild but that does not preclude anyone from doing any style they’d like. Our dues are $50/year and this includes membership in the National Modern Quilt Guild. We teach techniques during our meetings. As a group, we make a Community Quilt each year. We have many Open Sews on Saturdays throughout the year. We have one major event with a well-known presenter per year. And a weekend retreat once a year.

Hartford
Greater Hartford Quilt Guild, Connecticut There are 10 chapters in the GHQG, as well as many independent members from around the area. We have 300+members. Guests are always welcome at our chapter meetings. Each year a chapter organizes a members-only Annual Meeting and a Sharing Day. Members also receive our quarterly newsletter Basting Lines, and most local quilt shops offer members a discount at their stores. We have well-known speakers, their classes, vendors, and special events at our meetings. Bi-annually we put on a quilt show open to the public featuring members’ quilts, wearables, and dolls, well-known speakers, classes, vendors, the GHQG Schoolhouse hands-on and demo area, and a raffle quilt made by a few members. Another benefit for members is the participation in the GHQG retreat held opposite years of the quilt show. Visit our web site for more information. Quilts that Care, Inc., a nonprofit organization, makes and donates quilts to cancer patients at 17 Connecticut facilities.The facilities are The Cancer Care Center at Griffin Hospital, Derby; The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, Dr. Nicole Sookhan of Trinity Health of New England and Saint Mary’s VITAS in Waterbury; Charlotte Hungerford Hospital,  Torrington; Connecticut Childrens’ Medical Center and St Francis Hospital in Hartford; Norwalk Hospital; The Yale/Smilow Cancer Center in New Haven; Bristol Hospital; The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain; Hartford HealthCare at Home, Watertown and Southington; Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Litchfield County, Winsted; Seasons Hospice, Middlebury; Midstate Medical Center, Meriden; University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington and Veteran’s Hospital, Newington. Shoreline Quilting Guild meets at the Madison Senior Centor, 29 Bradley Road, Madison, CT. We have about 50 members who meet the first Monday of the Month at the Senior Center. We enjoy speakers, show n tell, workshops, and doing many charity quilts.

Middlebury
Southford Falls Quilters Guild Established in 2006, 65 members. $25 yearly dues. We meet at 7pm, the
first Friday of the month. Meeting held at Shepardsons Community Center in
Middlebury. Raffles each meeting, speakers, show and tell.

New Fairfield
First Monday at the public library in New Fairfield, main road, 7-9pm all are welcome after 15 years, the Calico Cats founded by Linda Decker and Jennfier O’brien of New Fairfield.

New Haven
Quilt Club New Haven
Quilt Club New Haven is a monthly social gathering open to anyone wanting to learn more about quilting. We welcome all experience levels—from beginner to expert. CT Piecemakers The CT Piecemakers Quilt Guild just celebrated its 40th anniversary. We are 200 members strong and welcome all quilters no matter their prefered techniques. Our dues are $40 per year with a guest fee of $10 which is applied to membership if both happen the same day. We meet at Trinity Lutheran Church in Trumbull, CT from September through May, with a holiday luncheon in December and an end of year luncheon in June. The Meetinghouse Quilters are a group of 16 quilters who meet once a month at the First Congregational Church in Washington, CT. and also at members’ houses. There are no dues collected. We have sponsored 4 quilt shows at the Meetinghouse, made two raffle quilts and have helped raise money for the Connecticut Quilt Search Project. Clamshell Quilt Guild meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM. Meetings are held at the Temple Emanu-El, Dayton Road, Waterford. The Guild has various programs and speakers through out the year, and a quilt show every other year.

Southern Connecticut Modern Quilt Guild
The Southern Connecticut Modern Quilt Guild meets the second Saturday of every month from 10-12 at the Weston Public Library,56 Norfield Road, Weston, CT 06883. Occasionally, meetings are held at local quilt shops; when this occurs notices will be posted on the Website www.southernctmqg.com, the public Facebook page and the Guild’s Instagram, @southernctmqg. The private Facebook page hosts tips, tricks, and local events’ notices for members. The guild welcomes guests to attend a guild meeting, some of which offer presenters, trunk shows, and classes a few times during the year. Dues are $60 per yea; part of which includes membership to the international Modern Quilt Guild (reduced dues available to people who are already members of the MQG), and access to their benefits. The Guild hosts a weekend retreat every October, that includes Round Robin swaps and other projects within the guild.
