NorthEast Iowa Quilt Guild. 
Iowa Quilters Guild. We have a membership of approximately 150 paying $20 per year dues. We meet 4 times a year at various cities in central Iowa. Programs and workshops are provided at those meetings and every other year (in the even years) we sponsor a quilt show.

    • Albia
      Crazy Quilters in Albia, Iowa are an ambitious bunch. Our meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 6pm at the First Christian Church on Washington Avenue. There are about 60 members. Dues is $10 per year and $4 if you wish to receive the newsletter. The newsletter includes a BOM. We have show and tell at each meeting. We have guest speakers, demonstrations and trunk shows. We have special Saturday classes. We have Charity Sew Day each even month beginning at 1pm before the meeting. We have Pizza, Munchies and Sewing each even month on the second Friday night. We have a show each August. We give quilt and monetary donations to charities. Money is raised by a donation quilt and silent auction as well as our newest program 'Community Quilts of Caring'.
    • Altoona
      Eastern Polk Quilters Guild. Our meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in the Fellowship Hall at 1701 8th St SW, in Altoona. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and includes a short business meeting, secret sisters, show and tell, a program or speaker and refreshments. Dues are $25 annually (Jan-Dec).     • Ankeny
      Ankeny Area Quilters' Guild. We are only 14 years old and already our guild has grown to nearly 200 members. Our dues are $20.00/yearly and our year starts each September. We welcome new members and encourage you to join anytime. We meet at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 517 SW Des Moines St, Ankeny, IA in the Fellowship Hall at 7 pm the second Tuesday of each month. Our mission is to promote quilting to all that are interested. We host one of Iowa's largest quilt shows during the second weekend of July each year which runs consecutively with Ankeny's SUMMERFEST celebration. This is our biggest money-maker for our guild and the funds go to promoting quilting by bringing in nationally known quilters several times a year to speak at our meetings.     • Belmond
      Prairie Homestead Quilters. We have about 40 members and no dues. We meet the second Monday of each month at 7 pm at the Jenison Meacham Art Center north of Belmond. We have a yearly quilt challenge, classes, a variety of monthly swaps, quilters' Show & Tell, the "clothsline quilt show" held at the Power Show in August, and a "donation" quilt the members make together as a fundraiser for the Art Center.       Hawkeye Heritage Quilt Guild meets once a month, on the third Tuesday except for November. We meet at the Asbery Methodist Church on South Main Street. our membership is approx. 120.       The Sisters of the Cloth Quilt Club, meet the 3rd Monday of every month. There are about 25 members, dues are $12.00 a year.. And we meet at Orchard View, on South Clark Street. Beth Cates brcates@win-4-u.net

    • Cedar Falls
      Keepsake Quilters meets the 3rd Monday of the month (except December)at Bethlehem Lutheran Church,4000 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls IA, at 7 PM. We have approx. 160 members. Dues are $30 per year. Visitors are welcome!! We have a monthly program and special workshops throughout the year. Our Quilts To Share group makes quilts for Hospice patients and other stressful situations in the community.We have a show every other year in the even years.     • Cedar Rapids
      East Iowa Heirloom Quilters. We have 400 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 9am and 7pm on the forth Monday of the month (except December) at the American Legion, 625 31st St. Marion. We have a block of the month swap, fat quarter swaps, classes, trips, two retreats per year, charity quilts, and we do a show every other year.       Chariton Valley Piecemakers. We have about 65 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of the month (except December 1st Monday) at First Lutheran Church, 1004 Curtis Ave., in Chariton. We welcome new members, beginners or advanced. We have a monthly newsletter, BOM drawing, show 'n tell, service projects, special speakers, workshops, a biennial quilt show, guild library, refreshments at meetings, potlucks, and a variety of different activities during the year.     • Clear Lake
      Lake Area Quilters Guild. We have a membership of around 100 who pay annual dues of $15.00. The guild meets the first Thursday of the month at the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake, Iowa. Every month we have a program, lottery block, door prizes, and refreshments. A newsletter also goes out to everyone each month.       Patches and Pieces Quilt Guild. We're a group of about 40 members who meet every other month, starting in January, in the basement of our favorite quilt store, Knits and Other Notions. We have two major quilt shows a year; a garden quilt show in conjunction with the hospital auxilliary, and a Christmas show to benefit our Crisis Center.       Mississippi Valley Quilters Guild. Over 350 members. Annual Membership $25. Meet the first Tuesday of the month, at 1:00 and 7:00 P.M., First Congregational Church, Moline, IL. Monthly "Block to Raffle"and Five-inch Square Trade. Charity Quilts & Community Education committees. National recognized speakers and workshops.       Northeast Iowa Quilters Guild  We rotate meeting throughout the area  including Waukon, Decorah, Postville, Elkader and Monona, with a retreat in the fall at the Village Creek  Camp near Lansing, Iowa. Our membership is around 120. We have a guild library for members use, plus fun programs thru out the year.   With a meeting from May thru Sept. on the first Tue. of the month.       Heart-to-Heart quilt guild meets with about 25 members the first Tuesday of every month. We have dues of $10.00 per year but get back so much more!! We have secret sisters, fat quarter exchanges, and usually a project ongoing in smaller groups that is voluntary, such as row-by-row exchanges, border exchange, block

      Cable Car Quilters Guild, Inc. meets on the third Monday of each month (except Dec.)at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1755 Delhi St., Dubuque, Iowa. We have 150 members. Meetings consist of a short business meeting, show and tell, a program or speaker, library time and of course treats are available. We have bus trips to quilt shows and other events.       Prairie E-Quilters is a small group of women who lead busy lives but love to quilt. We get together to quilt whenever possible, usually every other month.       Northside Strippers Quilt Club meets the second Thursday of every month at The Sewing Room, 1903 Highway 34 W., Fairfield at 7:15P.M.  We have approximately 38 members and welcome all those interested to join us for the fun, companionship and education.  Meetings include a program, show and tell, fabric exchange.  We sponsor a quilt show every other year (even years).  Membership $10 yearly.
    • Fort Dodge
      The Fort Dodge Area Quilters, Inc. meet on the second Tuesday of each month 7 p.m. at the senior citizens center. Dues are $20 a year. We have programs every month, friendship block swaps, are making a mystery quilt, take a bus trip each year, have workshops, make quilts for charities and have a show every other year in the even years. It has vendors, trunk shows, over 300 entries, lunch or snacks served, door prizes and a chance donation door prize quilt. We hold the show at the Webster Co. Fairgrounds in Fort Dodge.       Jewel Box Quilters. We have about 85 members. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at St. Mary's Religious Education Center in Grinnell, Iowa. We have varied activities and speakers.     • Iowa City
      Old Capitol Quilters Guild meets the second Monday (except August) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2301 East Court Street, Iowa City, Iowa (corner of 1st Ave. and Court Street at 7 pm). Monthly programs vary from local and national speakers, to hands on projects and workshops focusing on varied skill levels. Monthly meetings also include a show and tell session and guild library. Annual dues are $20.00 which includes the newsletter. All who are interested in quilting are welcome, come early to socialize and browse through the guild library.       TriState Quilters. We have about 30 members who pay $12 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month at the Keokuk Art Center.
    • Knoxville
      The Piecemakers of Knoxville, Iowa meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Faith Baptist Church in Knoxville. We have approximately 25 members with dues of $15. We have block of the month, fat quarter raffle, and charm square exchanges. Members can participate in KISS block and secret sisters programs.
    • Laurens 
      Laurens Town and Country Quilters. We have 40 members who pay $10. a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at the United Methodist Church in Laurens. We have a block of the month, classes and trips and do a bed turning every other year. Instead of paying rent for the church we make a yearly quilt for the Methodist In Gathering.
    • Manchester
      Heartland Quilters. We have about 25 active members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet at 7:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. We have a monthly program, president's challenge, workshops, charity projects, and construct a raffle quilt to give away in conjunction with our every other year shows.       East Iowa Heirloom Quilters. We have over 350 members. $20 dues. Meetings on fourth Monday at 9 A.M. and 7 P.M.       We have about 35 members who pay $8.00 in annual dues.We met at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except December, at the United Methodist
      Church,308 E. Superior. We have secret sisters, lottery block raffles, fat quarter swaps and make quilts each year for the Methodist Church in exchange for providing us a meeting place.
    • Muscatine

      Newton Piecemakers. We have about 35 members who pay $15.00 a year in dues. We meet on the third thursday of the month at the St. Luke United Methodist Church, 501 E 19th St N in Newton. We have a quilt show every three years. We have a progrom at each of our meetings and do many charity projects to benefit newton and the surrounding area. We have block of the month. fat quarter swaps, road trips, and differant quilt projects to increase our quilting knowledge.       Four Seasons Quiltmakers. We have about 30 members, who pay $7.50 a year in dues.We met at the Masonic Temple on the 1st Saturday of each month, except December at 1:30 p.m. We have secret sisters, classes and demonstrations, lottery block exchanges, and make quilts for unfortunate children.
    • Orange City
      Sioux Prairie Quilters annual quilt show & boutique is held in conjunction with the annual Tulip Festival here in Orange City, Iowa. The show and festival are always the third weekend in May from Thurs-Sat. There is fun for the whole family from the quilt show to rides, to parades, to Dutch food. Admission is just $3.00.       Cedar Valley Quilters. We have aprox. 65 members and area always looking for new faces/friends. We pay $15 /year in dues. We have a block of the month program , we meet during the school year on one Weds. per month to work on our program of Quilts of Compassion which we share in the communities represented by our group.       Ottumwa Quilt Guild, We have 89 members who pay $20 a year dues. We meet at 7:00 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month. We have Spring & Fall 3-day Weekend Retreat. Monthly meetings consist of a program with a speaker, member show-n-tell. We have Secret Sisters, Block Challenges, a President's Challenge and Charity Quilts are handed out to service organizations yearly.       "The Heartland Quilt Network is an organization of quilting guilds, professional quilt teachers and quilt shops. Thepurpose of HQN is to share information with members about programs,workshops, teachers, quilt shows and quilting events in the 4 state area (and possible surrounding areas as well) of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa. Guilds have found this to be especially helpful in sharing teachers with other guilds and shops to help programs be very cost effective for everyone.Yearly membership is $15.00 per guild, shop or teacher. The membership fiscal year runs from July 1 - June 30.Yearly membership includes a full directory of all members, quarterly newsletter and biannual meetings usually held in October and April. At the meetings members can share information in person. Members have the opportunity to promote: Guilds - meetings, workshops, local teachers, speakers, and quilt shows.       Cedar County Piece Makers. We meet the 4th Monday of each month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Educational Building of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 West 7th St., Tipton, IA   52772. We are newly organized (August, 1999) and have approximately 40 members.
    • Walnut
      Nishnabotna Valley Quilters Guild. We are a new guild (Jan/08) with about ten members who pay $20 per year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the 3rd Tues of each month except October. We have guest speakers each month, offer road trips,classes, a yearly raffle quilt to benefit charity and we do a quilt show every year on the first Saturday in October.     • Wellsburg
      Knot Sew Perfect Piecers. We have about 30 members that meet at the United Reformed Church in Wellsburg the first Monday of each month, with few exceptions due to holidays. We have a fat quarter drawing at each meeting for those who chose to participate. We've participated in a few contests together and individually.       We have 36 members who pay $12 yearly dues. Meetings are held the third Monday of each month, 7 pm at the Presbyterian church, Williamsburg. Activities enclude guild challenges, workshops, guest speakers, Chicago Quilt Show trip, quilt show in odd years.
