Alexandria
Patience Quilters meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM at West Library, 5416 Provine Pl, Alexandria, LA 71303. It is just off Hwy 28 West behind Provine Studio, Alexandria, La.
Before the meetings we have a little snack bar. Meetings consist of a short program presentation, administrative business, show and tell by members. There is usually a sign outside the entrance door that can be seen from the drive. Guests are always welcome! moc.liamtoh @enisfloms

We practice all types of quilting from machine-pieced to hand-applique and everything in between. There are approximately 50 members in the guild. Baton Rouge Modern Quilt Guild. Our mission is to support and encourage the growth and development of modern quilting through art, education and community. Our group was founded in 2013 to expand the Modern Quilt Guild movement to Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Our original name was Not Your Mama’s Modern Quilt Guild!! We meet monthly to learn and share. Our meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6pm. Baton Rouge Quilts for Kids and Allbrands have partnered together to provide quilts for ill children. We are asking volunteers to help cut, sew, and quilt children’s quilts for children with life-threatening illnesses. Cottonport.
Cotton Quilters Guild. We meet at 1 o’clock on the first Monday of the month at the Cottonport Museum, 220 Cottonport St., in Cottonport across from the Cotton Queen Stage. We have about 45 members who pay $25 annual dues. Meetings include guild business, monthly minis, door prizes, annual BOM, and a presenter or workshop. We offer occasional trips and shop hops and have a quilt show on odd-numbered years. Annual quilt fundraiser raffles help with charitable activities. Covington
Ozone Layers Quilt Guild meets at LOPA – Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency at 68190 Hwy 190 Service Rd, Covington, LA 70433. Meet and greet at 5:30, meeting starts at 6:00 pm, on the first Tuesday of each month. Check before coming in case we moved the meeting date! Our members pay $35 per year in dues. We have several retreats each year, contribute items too numerous charities and donate quilts. Membership is limited to 50, so sometimes there is a waiting list. Franklinton.
Queen Bee Quilters meet on the third Thursday of each month. We do charity quilts for many agencies. We do what we call love quilts for members who are struggling. Stashbuilder Quilt Guild meets at 7PM on the third Monday of the month at St. James Lutheran Church located at 1415 Hwy 30. We offer an ed. program, lotto blocks, block of the month, annual challenges, charitable projects, fellowship and more. Cajun Country Quilters of Gonzales. Our guild is made up of 56 fun-loving ladies who quilt together and learn together. We have Lotto Blocks every other month, a guild challenge yearly, and a fat quarter draw monthly. We have charities that we make quilts and pillowcases for yearly. Christmas we have a luncheon at a nice restaurant. Our dues are $12 per year. We meet 2nd Thursday of the month from 10 AM -12 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gonzalez, 1217 S Burnside Ave. Sit and Sew for the members directly after the meeting till 3 PM. Tangi CutUps. Meets every Wednesday at Mama’s Quilt Shop at 9 a.m. Open to membership. Very friendly group. Sit and sew every Wednesday.
Jonesboro
The Heritage Quilt Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 A. M. at the Jonesboro United Methodist Church. New members and visitors are welcome to attend our meetings. A visitor may attend the quilt guild meeting twice before becoming a member. Membership is approximately 60 quilters who pay annual dues of $10. Our meeting consists of a business portion, show and tell door prizes, and a program prepared by our Vice-President. Block exchanges and charm square exchanges are sometimes used at meetings. A library of quilting books is available for members to check out if they desire. We have a quilt show on the odd-numbered years. Two of the projects of the guild have been making small quilts for babies that have health problems and making quilts for people who lose their house to fire. Magnolia Stitchers Needle Arts Group. Membership is $20 per calendar year. We are a forward-thinking group of artisans embracing all the needle arts. Our membership includes machine embroiderers, quilters, knitters, crocheters, beaders, and longarmers. For meeting dates and times email moc.oohay . Krotz Springs Quilters Guild. We have about 65 members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 1 PM at the Krotz Springs Town Hall Meeting Room. “Sew Day” is held on the third Wednesday of each month. We have lottery blocks, birthday fat quarters, mystery quilt projects, classes, annual quilt show/fundraiser, and raffle quilt. Quilters Guild Acadienne. We have about 150 members who pay $25 a year in dues, with the exception of members over 75 who pay $12. We meet the last Thursday of each month at Northwood United Methodist Church, corner of Gloria Switch Rd & Moss St. We have lotto block, workshops, bees, and an annual guild auction. Contraband Quilt Guild. We meet every month on first Monday at 10am at the St Luke Simpson Methodist church for show n tell, lecture or workshop, and to encourage and learn from each other. DeSoto Quilters. We have 35 members who pay $5.00 per month in dues (for use of the church building). North Louisiana Quilters Guild. NLQG is a thriving and energetic group that enjoys the art of quilting. We currently have 4 chapters: Morning Stars who meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 9:30; Sunshine who meets on the first Thursday of the month at 1:30, Grateful Threads who meet on the first Monday of the month at 5:30 and Moonlight who meets on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30. Due to COVID, meeting places have been temporarily changed. Each chapter has its own programs, projects, and challenge quilts. Membership in one chapter makes you a member of the guild and allows you to attend any or all of the monthly chapter meetings.
We collectively have over 100 members and we meet quarterly to discuss business, Play-days, National Teachers, our Biennial Quilt Show, Quilt Retreats, and community projects. We welcome all interested in quilting and long to encourage all on this creative pathway. Yearly dues are $25; seniors dues are $20.

Sew Happy Quilters Guild. We are new and growing! We meet at 10am on the
second Wednesday of the month, and then again at 10am on the Saturday
following the Wednesday meeting (for those with real jobs). Our dues are $25
per year. We are open to all (18yr old and up)quilters and wanna be quilters! We do monthly lotta blocks, an annual challenge, a raffle quilt and several charity quilts. Round the Bend Quilters meets at the Sabine Council on Aging @ 29275 Hwy 191 Many, La. 71449 Every Friday at 10:00am and every 4th Saturday at 9:00 am. We have about 30 members. There is no fee to attend our get-togethers. We do occasionally offer beginner quilting classes for a total fee of $10. We have beginner quilters as well as master quilters who love to share their experience and expertise with others. We do at least one raffle quilt per year that we all work on and have a Bi-annual quilt show to raise money to purchase supplies for donation quilts that we give to the local community. Kisatchie Quilters Guild meets the Third Thursday each month, 1:30 pm at the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Range Building. We have 40 members, dues are $5.00 per year. The meeting includes the business portion, a program, and a show & tell. Each month members bring 6 – 6″ squares and a drawing is held for them. We also have a 12 1/2″ square drawing every three months, themes and colors are different we each new drawing. Those who have birthdays during the month bring a gift and a drawing is held. We have a Quilt Show every two years in even years. We give quilts to families in need (like someone who has lost their home to fire).
