Common Threads meets about every 2nd Monday at the St. James Anglican Church, 503 Park Ave (at the corner of 2nd St.), Beausejour. We collect $1 from each person to cover the cost of heating the room. Our group is about sharing, teaching each other, and just spending time with people who have like interests. Barnswallow Quilters We have over 40 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet every Monday nite at Morden Collegiate Institute Home Ec. Room from 7pm to 10 pm and every Wednesday at the Morden Friendship Centre board room from 11 am till 4 pm. We do a raffle quilt together each year, block of the month squares, workshops and classes as well as some wonder ful pot luck meals and an annual Quilt Show. AuroraOnLineQuilters are a group of about 30 Manitoba quilters who meet the second last Saturday of each month at Harrow United Church at the corner of Mulvey and Harrow in Winnipeg. We collect $3. from each person to pay for the rental of the hall. Bring a pot luck item for lunch and plan to spend the day with us from 10 am to 5 pm in friendship sharing tips and techniques, show and tell, and working on charity quilts or your own projects.
