  • Annapolis
    The Annapolis Quilt Guild meets every first Monday at 7 pm at St. Martin's Luthern Church, 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis. Yearly dues are $20 with discounts for seniors. Membership entitles you to a monthly newsletter, discounts at local quilt shops, lectures and workshops, quilt retreats and much more. For more information check out our website. 
  • Baltimore

    Baltimore Heritage Quilters' Guild
    . We have about 200 members who pay $20 in dues. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Woodbrook Baptist Church on Stevenson Lane. And dues are $25. We have show and tell, national speakers, challenges, a yearly raffle quilt, a bi-annual quilt show, a yearly charity project, two weekend quilt retreats a year, bus tours to quiltshows, workshops, newsletter, library etc. Contact: admin@baltimorequilters.com for more information

    Friendship Quilters has a membership of approximately 120. We meet from September through June, on the second Thursday evening of the month from 7-9p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road. Our meetings usually feature a well known guest lecturer or a demonstration of a new technique by one of our members. We join with our sister guild to do a quilt show every other year and a quilt bingo in the alternate year. Throughout the year we give back to our community by making quilts for charity.   • Bel Air
    Flying Geese Quilt Guild P.O. Box 1894, BelAir, MD 21014-7894. We have approximately 200 members who pay $20 plus a fat-quarter, to renew their membership; new members pay $25 plus a fat-quarter. Dues entitle members to monthly newsletters, access to the large guild library, discounts to workshops, and much more. Visitors are welcome at the general meetings for a fee of $5 per meeting. The guild offers well known speakers, challenges, Show and Tell, workshops, bus trips, a weekend quilting retreat, challenges, and a quilt show every other year.   • Bethesda
    Chesapeake and Potomac Applique Guild. We have about 30 members who pay $20 a year in dues but it is voluntary and we encourage visitors! We meet at the Little Flower Library on Massachusetts Ave the third Wednesday of the month from 1-3PM.     Bethesda Quilters. We have about 60 members. We meet at 1pm on the first Tuesday of the month at the Kensington Library on Knowles Ave. We have monthly speakers, workshops, a semi-annual show (coming up in Sept 07), have a Christmas and summer pot-luck and do a lot of charity work for local and national concerns.     Pax River Quilter's Guild, P.O. Box 768, California, MD 20619.  Meetings are held the Monday at 7:00pm at Loffler Senior Center,  Chancellor's Run Regional Park on Chancellor's Run Road. The guild consists of  new as well as seasoned quilters with vast knowledge to share. We  have a Block of the Month drawing, Secret Pals,Monthly Mini raffle, door prizes, show & tell and refreshments at each meeting. Membership dues entitle you to a monthly newsletter, discounts at local fabric stores, a large guild library, and many other opportunities.     Village Quilters of Catonsville, Maryland.  They meet the third Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the The Lodge, Nine Mile Circle at Frederick Road, Catonsville/Oella/Ellicott City.  Membership is about 85 and includes nationally famous Mimi Dietrich who is one of the founding members.  Visitors are welcome for a small fee of $2 per meeting.  Guild offers well known speakers, block of the month, challenges and quilt shows every other year.  A covered dish luncheon is shared by all at each meeting.  Members outdo themselves creating tasty dishes. Dues $20 per year ($18 if paid by June for the following year); Contact cassiekt@earthlink.net for more information
  • Chesapeake City
    Upper Bay Quilters guild. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Good Shepherd Parish House, 310 George St, Chesapeake City. Meeting starts at 7:00, doors open at 6:30 for demos and fellowship. Members pay $20 a year in dues.
  • Clinton
    Uhuru Quilters Guild We have about 90 members who pay $24/year in dues. We meet every third Saturday of the month from 11am - 2pm at the College Park Community Center. We seek to promote the work and accomplishments of African American quilters, and to preserve the tradition, culture and history of quilting. Our membership reflects the diversity of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and the quilting population. Skills range from beginning quilters to award-winning advanced fiber artists and professional quilters. Each meeting includes show and tell, door prizes, workshops, and lively discussions of issues relevant to the quilt world in general and Uhuru Quilters in particular.     Columbia Faithful Circle Quilters. Our guild has a day group and an evening group. The day group meets every Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm and the evening group meets every Monday from 7pm to 9pm. . We meet at the First Presbyterian Church at Route 29 and Route 108. Visitors are always welcome - stop by for a visit and see what you think. Membership is $15 yearly. This is a very friendly group and we welcome beginners and experts alike. Faithful Circle sponsors classes and lectures by local and nationally known quilters. We have a bus trip to the Lancaster Quilt Show and a shopping trip to some regional quilting stores.   • Cumberland
    Schoolhouse Quilters' Guild. Our guild meets at 9:30 a.m. the 3rd Monday of each month at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the corner of Smallwood and Washington Streets. We have door prizes, a 6 1/2 inch charm swap, a yearly raffle quilt, a yearly show, classes and demonstrations by members and by visiting teachers, trips to shows and quilt events, and a service project called "Happy Huggies."     Bayside Quilters. The Bayside Quilters meet the second Wednesday of each month at 9 am at the Days Inn, Rt 50 East in Easton. Exceptions are August and December when luncheon meetings are held offsite. Our programs and classes focus on building our skills and are presented by well-known quilters as well as some of our members. A variety of monthly bees, field trips, and ongoing outreach projects for local charities round out our activities. Bayside Quilters membership number over 110 and annual dues are $30.     Elkridge Evening Quilters. We are a small NQA registered guild located in central Maryland. Our dues are $12 a year. Guests are always welcome with no charge. Our membership ranges in age from 8 to 80+. We welcome all ability levels. Our meeting are held at 7:00 pm the first and third Thursday of the month at the Elkridge Baptist Church. Activities consist of show-n-tell, fat quarter swaps, group block Christmas raffle, NQA Day celebration, quilt 'till you drop pizza party, UFO event, shopping and quilt show trips, a yearly raffle quilt to benefit a local cause and many more fun events.     Baltimore Appliqué Society.  We meet 7pm on the third Wednesday, September - June.  BAS supports preservation of quilts, textiles, and related documents in museums and historical society collections, and promotes the art of appliqué and quilting.  Members all over the world include quiltmakers, collectors, historians, nationally known teachers, lecturers, appraisers, and museum curators.

    Sewful Sisters Quilting Bee A Real Working Bee We meet every 1st Saturday of the month. Our annual quilt retreat in scheduled for the second weekend in August. During this retreat we have classes,block exchanges and many other events and learning opportunities. We meet once a month to work on projects, share ideas and lend a helping.     Friendship Star Quilters Guild of Montgomery County, MD.  Friendship Star Quilters Guild of Montgomery County, Maryland generally meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30pm at the Gaithersburg Church of the Nazarene.     Everybody's Quilt Guild. We have approximately 45 members who pay $24 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm the first Wednesday of the month . Every month we have a block-of-the-month; a speaker or demonstration; and show and tell. On the even year we have a quilt show and on the odd year we have a miniature quilt bingo.
