Heritage Quilters. We have about 10 members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet the 3rd Friday of the month at 9:30 AM, except for the summer months. We meet at St Patrick's Catholic Church, lower level. We make quilts for the Veteran's Hospital, and make blocks for a quilt that we then draw names for. Lansing Area Patchers, Membership limited to 70 members who pay dues of $15 a year. We meet the first Thursday of the month at Bretton Woods Covenant Church, 925 Bretton Rd., Lansing, MI 48917. We have a guild library for members and several times a year we have nationally known speakers and workshops. For fun, the membership is alphabetically divided in half to challenge each other to complete their "UFO'S". Whichever group earns the highest number of points gets to be first in line at the June potluck. We have a quilt show on the "even" years with a raffle quilt in order to display the talents of all members as well as earn money for supplies to make quilts for charity.
