Southwest New Mexico Quilt Guild. With a membership of around 30, we meet at 9:30am on the first Tuesday of each month in the national Guard Armory in Santa Clara. Dues are $12 per year. We have a library for the use of members, show and tell at every meeting and demonstrations or classes at most meetings. Mt Taylor Quilt Guild We average 25 members and annual membership is $25. The regular meeting date is the Second Saturday of each month at 10AM at the First United Methodist Church at 510 North First Street. We sponsor an open Quilt Show in odd numbered years. Monthly meetings consist of Show & Tell and demonstrations of patterns or techniques. Blocks of the month, challenges and "field trips" are also part of our activities, as are the many Charity quilts which are created for various causes. Piecemakers Quilt Assoc. We have 40 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 6:30 pm on the second Thursday of every month at the Agnes Kastner Head Community Center in Hobbs. We provide 2 new patterns each year - one easier and one more challenging - as a benefit of due. We have fat quarter swaps, work days, workshops, a yearly raffle quilt to benefit charity.
