The Region of York Quilters Guild began in 1985 with 25 members. Our membership has grown to 175 today and we now boast some nationally and internationally renowned quilters and teachers. The Toronto Quilter's Guild. A brand new guild starting up September 2007. Focus is on Canadian quilt history, Canadian blocks and quilting traditions. Kindred Hearts Guild. Our Guild meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Whitby Baptist Church. Memebership is $30.00 per year. Our Guild focuses on teaching and we offer a wide variety of projects to develope and enhance quilting skills. Windsor's quilters quild We have about 200 members who pay $35 a year in dues. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month (Sept. to June)... during the day at 9:30 a.m. ... business meeting at 12:30 p.m. ... also in the evening at 7 p.m. at Fogular Furlan Club, 1800 E.C. Row (N. Service Rd.). We have many different activities ... Mystery Quilt, Jelly Roll Swap, Paint Can Challenge, Finish It Up Challenge, a daily raffle, Random Acts for food banks and Comfort Quilts for numerous charities.
