We have about 24 members meeting every two weeks from September through to April. No fees. We meet at the Senior Citizens building. Prairie Hearts Quilters' Guild We meet the first and third Thursday of the month from September to May at Diversified Services, 11 Woodlily Drive. We have demos, workshops, secret friends, UFO challenges and show and share. For more information visit our website. - Regina
Prairie Piecemakers Quilters' Guild. We have about 140 members who pay $25 membership each year. We meet the first Tuesday of each month, from Sept to June, at 7:30 pm. Monthly activities include a newsletter, fabric exchanges, workshops, demonstrations, and a "show and tell". "Connecting Threads" is a group that meets every Thursday afternoon to make quilts for Preemie babies and donation quilts for shelters and other needy causes. Southwest Quilters' Guild. We have about 25-35 active members who pay $15/year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of the month at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 6th Avenue and 19th St. NE in Swift Current. We have monthly classes for members, UFO work days, challenge blocks, offer New Quilter classes,d onate a quilt for the New Year's baby, donation quilts for the Patches of Hope (SK Cancer Association) Auction, and have an annual quilt show.
