The Good Hope Quilters Guild.  We have approx 300 members and meet quarterly, February, May, August and November.  We are the umbrella guild for the whole of the Western Cape area, covering 24 groups of different sizes.  We have interesting guest speakers and demos at each meeting, with a block draw, vendors selling fabric and quilt related items.  At the November meeting we have a 'Teachers Sampler Day', where we set up teachers demonstrating their speciality, ie.double bindings, easy borders, embelishment etc.   We also make many quilts for worthy causes, such as SOS Children's Village and others.
