Quilters of South Carolina is the statewide quilt guild with over 650 members. Along with quarterly newsetters, QSC sponsors two major events during the year. A fall Pieceable Retreat with over 30 classes and a Spring Meeting with a nationally known teacher who presents workshops across the state. Dues are $20.00 a year.   • Aiken
    Carolina Pine Quilters. We have about 50 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 7PM on the second Monday of the month at Trinity United Methodist Church in Aiken.  For more information, contact phbrown@bellsouth.net

    Banksia Quilter's Society. The first meeting of a new daytime quilt group will be on April 20, 2009, at 11:00 AM, in Aiken SC. The new Banksia Quilter's Society will meet on the third Monday of every month, 10:00 Am - 2:00 PM, at the Aiken County Historical Museum. Membership is open to all who want to enjoy or learn quilting, women, men, and children of any age.   • Anderson
    Prickly Fingers Quilters Guild. We have about 65 members who pay $20 per year in membership dues. We meet at 9:30 am the second Wednesday of each month at the Anderson County Museum. We have excellent monthly programs, active philanthropy and charity quilt donations, an annual quilters retreat, and small group bees. Visit our website for more information.
  • Beaufort   
    Sea Island Quilters has approx. 70 members who meet the first and third Thursday of every month at 6pm at the Senior Citizens Center in Port Royal. Third Thursday meeting is a program, show-and-tell,and refreshments. We present a biannual spring quilt show (odd years),yearly challenge and retreat,and BOM.We do various charity projects and have several workshops every year. Visitors are welcome. Dues are $20/year.
  • Camden
    Quilters of Kershaw County. We have about 50 members that pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 10AM on the second Monday of the month (Sept. - May) at the Fine Arts Center in Camden. We have classes and trips, a yearly fundraising auction, a secret sister program, and meet the first Monday of the month to create charity quilts.   • Charleston  
    Cobblestone Quilter's Guild meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, in Charleston, South Carolina, at 7:00 p.m. Over 200 members who pay $20.00 a year in dures. Meetings include block of the month, raffle treasures, show and tell, various programs. Quilt show every even year. Many splinter groups.
  • Clinton

  • Columbia  
    The Devine Quilters meet the first Monday in each month at Shandon Presbyterian Church, 607 Woodrow Street, in the Five Points area of town.  Mini-demonstrations are held at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00p.m. and ends promptly at 9:00p.m. With a membership of 55, we have a diverse group of all skill and interest areas. Our monthly programs usually feature a speaker or demonstration followed by show and tell, charity updates and guild projects. Dues are $24.00 a year and monthly donations to a door-prize fund is possible! Each year we choose a different charity project to benefit a local group. This year's charity project is a mystery block project that each member may choose to complete. At the end of the year we will gather on a quilting day to assemble the quilts which will be donated to the local cancer center to be used while patients are undergoing chemotherapy. The Devine Quilters sponsor a yearly bus trip to a nearby quilt and textile show as well as participating in National Quilting

    Greater Columbia Quilters Monthly meetings are at 9:30 AM on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church at 530 St. Andrews Rd. with business and show & tell followed by a program. We offer programs, classes, community service projects, a monthly newsletter, show & tell, and, most importantly, friendship and a sharing of mutual respect and ideas.   • Conway 
    Scraphappy Quilters. We have started a new guild in the Conway area. We meet at 1:00 pm every other Monday. ALl ages and all levels welcome. Currently, there is no evening group, but we would consider starting one if there are enough people interested. Please contact goldpin@aol.com for more information.
  • Florence  
    Swamp Fox Quilters. We meet the first Thursday of the month, John Calvin Presbyterian Church on corner of Marsh Ave. and Third Loop Road, 9:30 am, visitors welcome. We have monthly programs and show and tell every meeting. We also have a work day on the third Thursday of the month with activities planned. We hav a yearly Raffle Quilt and Guild challenge which usually hangs in local museums. We attend and display quilts at a local Civil War reenactment yearly.     Foothills Piecemakers Quilting Guild - meets first Thursday of each month at Grace Baptist Church, 5020 Old Spartanburg Rd., Taylors, SC. Time: 7 PM till 9 PM. We have Block of the Month Drawings, Quilting Bees, Name Tag Drawings, Show and Share, along with special guest speakers. Guest Workshops are offered. Come join the fun!   • Greenwood
    The Needlers Quilt Guild: We have 19 members who pay $20.00 a year in dues. Our meetings are held at 10:am, at the Turner House, located on Bailey Circle in Greenwood. We meet on the second Saturday of each month, except for November & December, our meeting are held on the first Saturday of the month. We have show & tell at each meeting. Work shops are held several times a year. Our Guild takes a trip to Pegion Forge each year to the Quilt Fest. Quest speakers and vender are invited to our meetings from time to time.   • Hilton Head  
    The Palmetto Quilt Guild. We have approx. 180 guild members and 14 small quilt groups. We meet the third Thursday of each month, except Aug. & Dec. at the Quality Inn (Hwy. 278) from 12:30-3pm. Our dues are $20. per year. We have guest speakers and classes, we provide community service quilts to various organ., we provide a scholarship as a few of our ongoing projects. Every other year we have a quilt show and provide a raffle quilt.
  • Lancaster
    Magic Needle Quilt Guild. We have about 22 members who pay $20 a year in dues and newsletter. We meet at 10:00am on the second Thursday of the month at the First Presbyterian Church. We do classes, have joint programs with Piecemakers Guild, and do community service for the hospital making pillow cases for the pediatric patients. We were commissioned by the hospital to make around 15 wall hangings for the newly remodled Womens and infants wing. Contact Janet Nelson (803) 289-2969 for more information. Lancaster Piece Makers Quilting Guild. We meet the second Monday or each month at 6:00pm at Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church, 1928 Country Club Road in Kershaw, SC and pay $20 per year for dues. We have classes, have joint programs with Magic Needle. We work on making quilts for the Crisis Pregnancy Center as our community service project. Members have free quilt lessons each month, plan shopping trips, door prizes, a quilt tip of the month, workshops and monthly programs and projects. Quilt show with the Magic Needle Guild held as often as possible. Both guilds make their own donation quilt.     The Lancaster Piecemakers Quilt guild has about 15 members. We meet the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at St. Catherines Parrish Hall. Quilters pay $12 each year for membership.   • Landrum 
    Landrum Quilters. We meet at 9:30 am monthly on the 2nd Thursday at the Gowensville Community Center on Highway 11 near the intersection with Highway 14. We have a business meeting, a program, show and tell, and refreshments. A fourth Monday bee takes place in the same location. Our 2009 quilt show takes place June 12-14. Our ongoing philanthropy projects are Steps To Hope and Ronald McDonald House quilts.
  • Latta

  • Mauldin  
    Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild of Mauldin, SC meets the second Tuesday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1100 Log Shoals Road, Mauldin (suburb of Greenville,SC). Dues are $15.00 a year. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. with a brief business meeting followed by show and tell and a quilt related lecture. We sponsor a quilt show in October of each year, a raffle quilt, and workshops.     UpCountry Quilters Guild meets at 7:00 on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Blue Ridge Electric Co-op on 183. We have about 70 members. Dues are $20 a year.
