  • Abilene
    Abilene quilt guild  With about 100 members who pay dues of $24 a year, meetings are on the second Monday night of the month, held at St Paul's United Methodist Church: 525 Beech Street. We start with meet and greet, & eat, at 6:45. The meeting starts at 7:00. There is a program every month, penny mini, block of the month, door prizes and of course Sew and Tell. We hold a quilt show every year in June. The profits from the show quilt goes to a local charity. Visitors are always welcome, whether an expert or novice quilter.

    Aldine Area Quilt Guild. We meet every Wednesday at 6:00p.m. at the James Driver Community Center Houston Texas at 10918 Bentley--281*442*7950. Dues are $12.00 per year, we work at our own pace, with no pressures, on our own projects or on a group project. We share our knowledge and help each other in any way we can.     Allen Quilters' Guild meets the Third Thursday of the month at First Presbyterian Church on Hwy 5 in Allen. We meet at 6:30pm for social, with the program/business starting at 7pm. We have a block of the month, community service projects, secret pal, small groups, and workshops. We also have a retreat at least once a year.     Gulf Coast Quilter's Guild meets the 1st Thursday of each month at the Alvin Senior Center, 309 West Sealy, Alvin, Texas. The meeting begins at 7at00 p.m. We have a fat quarter & a charm square exchange, a secret sister exchange, a lotto block drawing, and a variety of programs that would interest the beginner to the advanced quilter.     Happy Scrappers Quilt Guild. We have 21 members who pay $20 a year for dues. We meet at 6:45pm on the third Monday of the month at the First Baptist Church in Azle (1016 Boyd Rd or 730 north). We have a block of the month program, fabric swaps and monthly quilt-ins. We donate quilts for charities and also raffle approx. 1 quilt a year.     Friendship Quilt Guild. We have 50 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Brenham Presbyterian Church, 900 S. Jackson Street at College in Brenham. We have a block of the month drawing, great informative programs & workshops. A biennial quilt show (in even years) with a raffle quilt & donated challenge quilts to benefit charity. We also have a daytime bee on the 2nd Friday of each month located at the Presbyterian Church with potluck lunch, & we work on care quilts for cancer patients, nursing home residents, child protective services or anyone else who needs a care quilt.   • Brownfield
    Our guild is just starting up. We are the Cotton Trail Quilter's Guild and we have about 18 members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet at 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Extension Office in Brownfield. We have a yearly quilt show, and each Monday we have a quilting bee at the Party House in Coleman Park. The hours for that are 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We will be doing quilts for hospitalized children. We will also raffle a quilt each year.
  • Brownwood
    Brownwood quilters guild: small town guild with approximately 65 members. We have a morning and an evening meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at 9:00 am and 6:00 pm at the First Christian Church. Our projects: block of the month, fat quarter swap, secret sisters, wee care quilts, patriotic pillowcases, and pillowcases for Child Protective Services. We have a yearly quilt show with a raffle quilt.

  • Caldwell
    Creative Memories Quilt Guild meet the 4th Wednesday of each month except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Guild meets at the First United Methodist Church, 306 Fox Street, at 9:00am for refreshments. The meeting starts at 9:30 am with a short business session, show and tell, and a hands-on workshop.     Busy Quilters Guild. We have about 30 members who pay $12 a year, meeting at 5:30 pm, third Thursday, St. John's Episcopal Church. We have instruction programs in addition to "show and teach" of ongoing projects by members.     Cedar Hill Quilters Guild. We have about 55 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on The Cedar Hill Recreation Center is conveniently located at 310 East Parkerville Road near Hwy 67 @ Tidwell Rd.     North Channel Quilt Guild   Meetings are held on the third Thursday evening of the month with our social time starting at 6:30 p.m., meeting at 7:00 p.m. ending the evening meeting at 9:00 p.m. Our meetings take place at the V.V. Ramsey Center in Channelview, Texas. Annual Membership dues are $15.00. We provide an opportunity for quilt lovers to meet new friends with similar interests. Visitors are welcomed.

    Cleburne Area Quilters' Guild, Inc. meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30PM, at the First Christian Church, 200 N. Nolan Road, Cleburne, Texas. Annual dues are $20.00.
  • Cleveland
    The Cleveland Wearable Arts Guild meets the third Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church Fellowship Hall, 702 E. Houston Ave. (across from Brookshire Bros. Grocery Store) at 6:30 p.m. We have dinner first, then our programs, business, challenges, show and tell, etc. We pay $12.00 dues yearly, and sew various projects for community service projects. Occasionally, we attend conferences, and take field trips. We have a wonderful group of ladies, some of whom have been meeting since about 1991 . We've made new friends and established life long friendships through this club.
  • Conroe
    Golden Needles Quilt Guild serves all of Montgomery County. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at Conroe Bible Church off I-45 exit FM 830.     After Hours Quilters. The After Hours Quilters group meets every second Monday night at Bayshore Bible Church. We have block-of-the month, special projects, bees, and a special "Gathering" each year for classes.

    Coastal Bend Quilt and Needlework Guild. We meet at 10:00 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at Ethel Eyerly Senior Center. Dues are $25 a year which includes a newsletter. We have bees that meet at different times during the month, in house workshops as well as professional quest speakers and workshops,a quilt show every odd numbered year.     Tri-County Quilt Guild Meets the 1st Tuesday of the month, 7-9pm @ Fairfield Baptist Church off Hwy 290 & Muschke Rd in Cypress.     Quilter's Guild of Dallas meets first Thursday monthly at Congregation Shearith Isarael. QGD Membership is currently around 700 members. The guild hosts the annual "Dallas Quilt Celebration" each March, featuring 400 judged show entries from across the nation, and sponsors numerous community service projects including "Covers for Kids" and the stocking project.     The El Paso Quilter's Association is a source of information and inspiration to perpetuate a high quality of excellence in quilting and to preserve the heritage and the art of quilting.   • Fredericksburg
    The Vereins Quilt Guild of Fredericksburg was founded in 1997.  We have 50 charter members and are currently at 70 members strong.  We meet the third Saturday of the month except in Dec. there is no meeting.  The time is 9 -12 am at the County Extension Ag. Building off Llano St. We have a speaker, offer classes for beginners, and do the block of the month.  There are workshops 2 or 3 times a year with retreats also being offered through out the year.  There are several bees and we are adding more monthly.  Our guild has a yearly raffle quilt and we are planning our first quilt show in the next 2 years.

    Frisco Quilt Guild meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Events Building of Preston Ridge Campus of Collin College. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., and our meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. Our guild activities include a monthly block swap, secret sister gift sharing, community service groups, small groups that meet other times during the month, quilt raffle, door prizes, two yearly retreats and our Fall Festival.     Trinity Valley Quilters Guild, Fort Worth Trinity Valley Quilters Guild, Fort Worth, Texas meets the third Friday of each month (excluding September) at 9:30 am social time and coffee, 10 am Meeting and Program, at the Central Christian Church, 3205 Hamilton, Fort Worth, TX. (This church is located between University and Bailey, a few blocks north of the Cultural District.) Quilt Show held in September at the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall - Will Rogers Complex in Fort Worth. Dues are $25.00 a year. 

    Fort Worth Quilt Guild. We have about 50 members who pay $25 or $20 for seniors a year in dues. We meet the 3rd Tue each month at 7:00 PM at the White Settlement Senior Center. We have a block of the month drawing, FQ lotto, Quilting Buddies (secret pal), UFO Challange, two retreats a year and are begining alternating monthy charity projects with one day sewing retreat.     Common Threads Quilt Guild. Our guild has about 85 members. Our yearly dues are $20.00. We meet the 2nd Monday of the month at Whaley Methodist Church in Gainesville at 7 p.m. We have speakers, do a block of the month, have various exchanges, a library and offer workshops throughout the year.     The Island Quilters' Guild meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:45 p.m. at the Moody Methodist Church on 53rd Street in Galveston, Texas. We publish a monthly newsletter and are active in the community by furnishing quilts to the Ronald McDonald House and other local charities.     The Garland Quilt Guild has 137 members. We meet on the first Tuesdays of each month at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 930 Ave. B at Ninth in downtown Garland. The annual dues are $25. We have a monthly Newsletter, have educational opportunities with speakers and workshops, participate in community service projects with Quilts for the Troops, Jonathan's Place, area nursing homes, and were a supporter of the Quilt Pink Day held recently.     Quilter's Guild of Grand Prairie  Regular monthly meetings take place on the first Monday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 310 SW 3rd Street in Grand Prairie, Texas.     Cotton Patch Quilt Guild. We meet the 4th Thursday of every month (except Nov & Dec) in the basement of Kavannaugh Methodist Church in Greenville. We have about 75 members. Yearly dues are $24. We have 3 friendship groups and a yearly donation quilt.
  • Harlingen
    Frontera Quilt Guild Inc. established in October 2000 with 11 members. We now have more than 150 members who pay $20.00 a year in dues. We meet at the Encore RV Park, Lake Community Building in Harlingen at 6:30 PM on the second Monday of the month. We have a program and offer classes and fun things throught out the year, silent auction, trash to treasure, block swaps just to name a few. We provide quilts as a community service to our Rio Grande area and recently made 28 quilts in support of our troops in Iraq. We are a realxed and friendly group and welcome all to come and visit us!

    Piecemakers Quilting Guild. Piecemakers Quilting Guild was formed in February 2004 with 12 charter members. At this writing, the guild has doubled. Meetings are held on the last Friday of each month from 9:00AM-2:00PM at the First Baptist Church activities building located at 445 Main Street, Hempstead, Texas. We enjoy fellowship, working on our own projects, and sharing techniques with each other. Occasionally, we have structured classes. We are a warm, friendly and relaxed group. Dues are $2 per meeting.     Lakeview Quilters Guild is located south of Houston near beautiful Clear Lake and the Johnson Space Center. We meet at 7 PM on the third Monday of the month at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 18223 Point Lookout, Nassau Bay. With a membership of over 300, there are many activities to be involved in...bee's, community service, bi-annual quilt show, donation quilt in addition to monthly meetings and workshops featuring nationally recognized speakers.     Quilt Guild of Greater Houston. Our evening session meets at 7:00 P.M. on the third Tuesday of the month. Our morning session is held the last Wednesday of the month at 10:00 A.M.     North Channel Quilt Guild.  We meet at 7:00 PM, the third Thursday of each month at the Sterling Wood Baptist Church at Beltway 8 and Scotter on the east side of Houston.  Our due are $15 a year and the atmosphere is friendly and helpful.  Our guild began in 1996 and attracts members from 11 years old to 80 years young.    Our Angel Ministry provides layettes to St. Luke's Hospital for the precious Angels that have gone on before us at childbirth.  We also donate quilts to the local fire departments for those who have suffered trauma either at the hands of a fire or an accident. We have a Charm Square Exchange each month, along with a Block of the Month.  We have demonstrations and classes at every meeting, as well as door prizes and refreshments.  We have Secret Pals and Special Sisters. The Tuesday evening chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month with the Wednesday afternoon chapter meeting the Wednesday after the second Tuesday. Both chapters meet at the Golf Course Road Church of Christ. Tuesday Chapter meets at 7:00 pm and Wednesday Chapter meets at 1:00 pm. The same program is presented at both monthly meetings.     The Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild was formed in 1981 when a small group of 11 local women joined together in their interests and appreciation of the art of quilting. Today the guild averages over 450 members annually. The annual dues are $20.00 and entitles members to discounts at local quilt shops, entry to the monthly meetings, discounted pricing for quilting workshops, access to library classes and the guild's library, a monthly newsletter and a chance to win a nicely funded scholarship to a national quilt show of the member's choice. Monthly meetings are held the second (2nd) Saturday of each month from 9 am to noon at the Marble Arch Banquet and Conference Center in Mercedes, TX just off Expressway 83 (nouth side of expressway at Mile 2 West Rd. exit). The guild members donate countless volunteer hours making baby quilts for local birthing centers, hospitals, local ambulance and emergency response services, and the Ronald McDonald House. Lap quilts are also made for local nursing homes and cancer caps for hospitals. Many members teach quilting to various groups of all ages throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Two college scholarships are given each year by the guild to local graduating seniors who are pursuing an education in the textile field. Scholarships are also given to guild members to attend the Houston Int'l Quilt Show or another national show of the recipients choice.     Creative Quilters Guild of Ellis Co. founded in 2003. We meet on the 4th Monday at 7:00pm at St. Paul Episcopal Church at 624 Ovilla Rd (SE corner of Ovilla Rd and Hwy 287), Waxahachie.     HISTORY: The first meeting of the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild was in September, 1981, with 10 in attendance. Since that time the guild has grown into a membership of 420+ members. PURPOSE: is to encourage the art of quilting and related needle arts, to provide instructions for its members, and to be a gathering place for people with this common interest.. MEMBERSHIP: Dues are $15.00 per year (January 1 st - December 31 st) and entitles members to the bimonthly newsletter "Patches and Snatches", programs, demonstrations, yearbook with roster of members, calendar of programs and meeting dates, as well as use of the Guild Library. The Guild is open to anyone interested in quilts, beginners, intermediates, advanced-quilters or admirers of quilts. Vistors Pay $5. fee at meetings. MEETINGS: Are held the 2nd Saturday of each month, MARBLE ARCH BANQUET AND CONFERENCE CENTER, MERCEDES, beginning at 9:00 AM. PROGRAMS: A certain portion of our meeting is set aside for a program or demonstration on techniques and/or procedures in which our members have expressed an interest. WORKSHOPS: Twice a year educational workshops are held with qualified nationally known instructors for which there is a nominal fee. SHOW AND TELL: At each meeting members bring their quilt or quilt related projects for a portion of the meeting for membership viewing and inspiration. GUILD MEMBERS: Are encouraged to use their creative and artistic talents, as well as improve their basic skills in all of their projects. GUILD LIBRARY: The library has books containing patterns, etc. and can be checked out and returned at meetings. New books are added regularly. Books may be kept one month unless other arrangements are made.

    Quilter's guild of Parker Couny was established in February of 2000. We meet at the Senior Center in Weatherford on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7-9 pm. Dues are $15 a year. Visitors are welcome. We have exciting programs and workshops for beginner and experienced quilter alike.     Red River Quilt Guild. We have about 100 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the first Monday of the month at the Church of Christ on Loop 11 in Wichita Falls. We have a program each month and a quilt show every even numbered year. Last year we held a retreat. Show and Tell, fat quarter swaps, classes, charity quilts, regular workshops, and a college scholarship are part of the our events.

    Wimberley Valley Quilt Guild. We have a group of about 30 to 40 lively members. Our dues are $12.00 a year. We meet at 1:00 on the first Wednesday of each month at the Wimberley Senior Center. We do a challenge block of the month winner takes all, doorprizes, programs,show & tell, workshops, UFO luncheons, outings and we provide free advice on most anything!
