NORTH HAMPSHIRE QUILTERS-celebrating their 20th year in 2000. A group of 45 mixed ability quilters always glad to welcome beginners and guests. We meet first and third Wednesdays, at 7:30 Richard Aldworth School, Western Way, Basingstoke, except in August. Guest fee: £2.50, annual membership £15.00. A generous raffle at each meeting. The content of meetings vary: Major quilting speakers, hands on evenings and full day workshops. Quilters
We have, at present around 75 members. Membership costs #15 per year. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 8pm at St. Augustine's Church Hall, Penarth. Loads of activities - trips to quilt shows, talks by local (& not so local) quilters, Saturday dayschools, raffle, block of the month and loads else! Mead Quilters have about 60 members. We meet at Mead Hall, Wheathampsted on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm and on the first Thursday of each month at 10.00am.We have speakers and practical evenings, block of the month, workshops and shows.
