Delectable Mountains Quilt Guild. We have 42 members who pay $10 per year in dues. We meet at 10am on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month from Sept thru June at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Rt.522, Berkeley Springs. For our members we have a Block of the Month, a Mystery Quilt and special workshops after each meeting. For the community our projects include Charity Quilts, Annual Quilt Show at the Ice House, Annual Yard Square Quilt Auction and Annual Morgan County Fair Quilt Room. We have opened our guild to Internet members: minutes of meetings sent via email; pictures of projects shared online; hands-on advice and help arranged for evenings or weekends. Log Cabin Quilters' Guild in Elkins WV has about 55 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 7:00p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center. We have a business meeting which is followed by a "Show and Tell" and a short program. We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at the Extension Office at the Courthouse Annex building in Point Pleasant. This is the evening group for working women and we have a light meal during out meetings and are finished by 6:30pm in order to get home to our families or other activities.
