Annapolis
The Annapolis Quilt Guild We have almost 300 members who pay $35 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the first Monday of the month at St Philips Episcopal Church on Bestgate Road in Annapolis. We have a business meeting followed by a show and tell of our member quilts and a speaker. That speaker usually conducts a workshop during the day prior to the meeting. Our annual quilt show is the second Saturday and Sunday of June. Each year we have a raffle quilt. We have numerous outreach projects that we sponsor. Baltimore Heritage Quilters’ Guild.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month (September โ June) at the Woodbrook Baptist Church, 25 Stevenson Lane, Towson MD 21212. Doors open at 6 pm for member sit & sew. The meetings start at 7 pm. Quilters of all ages, abilities and quilting styles are welcome. Membership dues are $40.00 per year.

Flying Geese Quilt Guild The Flying Geese Quilt Guild is an active group of 160+ members. Our guild currently numbers approximately 35 quilters, who come from Bethesda and surrounding communities in Montgomery County, Maryland. Meetings may include local or nationally known speakers, wonderful trunk shows, demos of new and interesting techniques or tools, workshops for donations and socials twice a year just for fun! We meet at the Chevy Chase Library, 8005 Connecticut Ave, on the first Tue. of each month with some changes due to holidays or library schedules: so check our website for details. Queen Anne’s County Quilt Guild. We have about 30 members who pay $20 a

Goodwill Fire House. We have speakers, classes, exchanges and a raffle

Upper Bay Quilters guild. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Good Shepherd Parish House, 310 George St, Chesapeake City. The meeting starts at 7:00, and doors open at 6:30 for demos and fellowship. Members pay $20 a year in dues.

Olde Kent Quilters Guild
The guild meets monthly on the third Tuesday from January through November at the Presbyterian Church of Chestertown, 905 Gateway Drive, Chestertown, MD 21620. Guest fees are $5./$10. Workshops are held on Wednesdays following meeting. Non-members may attend workshops for $10. above member fee if space is available. The guildโs activities include monthly programs and workshops with local, regional and nationally known speakers, special interest bees, comfort quilt and community outreach programs, an annual exhibit of small quilts, a biennial show and market, and two annual retreats. Faithful Circle Quilters. Faithful Circle Quilters(FCQ) Guild, established in 1971, takes its name from a traditional quilt pattern shown in its logo to represent the fellowship found in quilting and in guild participation. We have about 125 members who pay $35 a year in dues and meet each week on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings at 9325 Presbyterian Circle, Columbia, Maryland, 21045. Stitching Suffragettes
The Stitching Suffragettes are here to preserve and promote knowledge of the art and craft of quilts and quilt-making through friendship, charity, education, communication, and quality workmanship. There are zero ($0) dues, and membership is open to any interested individuals over the age of 12 years (under 16yo must be accompanied by an adult).
We pride ourselves on making the community and joy of guild membership accessible to those unable to keep up with the standard guild schedule by meeting only one Saturday morning per month. One meeting per year is dedicated solely to working on charity projects. One meeting per year is dedicated to education (whether that be a trip to a museum, or an in meeting class on a particular technique). And we do one guild project throughout each calendar year (2025 was a round robin, 2026 is a color challenge!).

We are a small NQA registered guild located in central Maryland. Our dues are $15 a year. Guests are always welcome at no charge. Our membership ranges in age from 8 to 80+. Sewful Sisters Quilting Bee A Real Working Bee We meet every 1st Saturday of the month. Our annual quilt retreat in scheduled for the second weekend in August. Clustered Spires Quilt Guild
Our guild was founded in 2001 and our approximately 80 members include beginners through experts, with interests from art quilts to traditional quilts in an array of materials. Bethesda Quilters is a small guild of about 45 people who love all kinds of quilting. While many are traditional quilters, there is always interest and participation in new ways to express their art in fabric. Meetings are from 1 to 3 pm on the first Tues of each month and may include demonstrations of new techniques, speakers of interest to fabric lovers, or creative workshops. The group makes many quilts for donation to babies and children in hospitals or through community agencies like the DC Diaper Bank as well as lots of cheery placemats for folks in the Meals on Wheels program. Friendship Quilters meets from September to June, on the second Thursday evening of the month from 7-9 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road. Meetings feature a well-known guest lecturer or a demonstration of a new technique by one of our members. Four County Quilters Guild
Meets at the Calvary Methodist Church; 403 S. Main St., Mt. Airy, MD 6:30 PM โ 9 PM. With currently 160 members and annual dues of $25, we have speakers, workshops, bingo, and a quilt show every other year. A 30-minute sewcial is held prior to each meeting to allow for getting to know members, demos, and snacks. Show and Tell is held at most meetings. We raffle Opportunity Quilts and encourage quilters of all skill levels to visit us. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Calvary Methodist Church in Mt. Airy, MD. Sew-cial begins at 6:30 PM with the business meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. We have speakers, demos, field trips, retreats, winter, and spring banquets, create and donate charity quilts, and have a community bingo and quilt show on opposite years. Quilters by the Sea
We have 80+ members, over 60% live in Ocean Pines. We meet every Wednesday: 1st Wed. is Volunteer Day from 10-3 when we create, sew and tie quilts for local charities; 2nd, 4th, 5th Wed. 10-3 are for UFOs, workshops, or quilt adventure trips; 3rd Wed. is our General Membership Meeting from 12-3 where we always have Sew & Tell. We do a Quilt Show every other year highlighting all the guild’s talented members. We make a Raffle Quilt every other year as a fundraiser for our educational and charitable activities. Special programs include Christmas in July, Brown bag projects, Friendship block drawings, BOM, guest speakers, and teachers. Dues are $30 per year. Shore Birds Quilt Guild
The Shore Birds Quilt Guild began as a club for a few interested quilters in 1981 and grew to become a guild. We have met continuously since then. We have about 30 members currently and always welcome guests and new members. Dues are $20/ year, prorated for new members who join us later in the year. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10 am at the Salem Church, 500 2nd Street, Pocomoke City MD 21851, except June when we have a picnic off-site and December when we hold a holiday party beginning at 11 am. We have a program or demo each month show and tell, and occasionally hold workshops. We have supported the local Project Linus Chapter since 2002, and each year choose a variety of projects to serve local people in need. Nimble Fingers Quilt Group. Nimble Fingers Quilters, an affiliate of the National Quilting Association, meets in Potomac, MD every first Wednesday at 10 AM from September to June at the Potomac Rec Center on Falls Rd. We have about 140 members and are a very active guild. We do a great deal of charity quilting, have speakers and classes, and mini-groups, and we put on a wonderful quilt show every two years.
Prince Frederick
Calvert County Quilt Guild Calvert County Quilt Guild meets on the Second Tuesday of the month at NewLife Church at the corner of German Chapel Rd and Hallowing Point Rd. in Prince Frederick. We welcome all….beginners, prospective quilters, advanced, etc. We have guest speakers, workshops, block of the month swap, community charity projects, raffles/prizes, and show and tell. We are a casual group of 70 quilters of all skill levels. The majority of our members hail from northern Harford County, MD and southern York County, PA. QOL meets the last Tuesday of the month (except December.) at Norrisville Fire Co., 2134 Harkins Rd, Pylesville, Md 21132. 5:50 – 6:30 – Sit and Sew, socialize, watch demonstrations. Yearly dues are $20, which entitle you to a monthly newsletter, discounts at local quilt shops & fabric chain stores, lectures & workshops from Celebrity Quilt Teachers & designers, opportunities to go on Quilt Retreats, great meeting activities, and of course, the company & fellowship of other quilters & quilt lovers. We are a very friendly bunch & would love to help you with your latest project or just give you a pat on the back for a job well done! Please join us!
Westminster
Everybody’s Quilt Guild. Membership is now 90+. Meet first and third Wednesday of every month at St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster at 7:00 p.m. First meeting of the month usually includes a speaker or presentation as well as a business meeting. The second meeting is demos, mini-workshops, or sit and sew. We have a Bingo annually and a Quilt Show every other year. The guild sponsors two retreats yearly. dot_w@verizon.net
