Innovation and Tradition: The Spirit to Create Quilt Show in Medford OR

Mountain Stars Quilters Guild will hold their biennial Quilt Show on Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18, from 9:30am to 4pm daily. The show will be held at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway in Medford, Oregon. Admission is $8 (no fee for children under 10) and, in honor of Father’s Day weekend, men will be admitted free of charge both days!

This year our theme is “The Spirit to Create” and there will be over 200 quilts on display, including guild challenge quilts and special guild projects created by members of Mountain Stars. Our featured quilters, Pamela Norton and Karen Derrer, will be exhibiting their work.

Attendees can shop for fabric, notions, and handmade items at our Vendor booths as well as at the Pins and Needles Boutique. Generous door prizes will be given away hourly and tickets to win one or more themed raffle baskets will be on sale.
Remember while you’re at the quilt show to also purchase tickets for the Mountain Stars Opportunity Quilt, “Midnight Stars” from Starr Designs. This gorgeous quilt was stitched and quilted by members of Mountain Stars. Proceeds will benefit the Women’s Crisis Support Team. The winning tickets for the opportunity quilt and raffle baskets will be drawn on Saturday afternoon just before the close of the show (winner need not to be present to win).
