Stan Hywet Needlework Show in Akron OH
October 1 – October 4 EDT
The Stan Hywet Needlework Guild promotes needlework education and fellowship among needleworkers. The Guild invites guests to attend one regular business meeting and stitch-in, or one evening meeting and program, at any time during the membership year, which runs April through November.
Next up is Ohio Mart, where the Guild will host the popular Textile Arts & Artisan Show in the Manor House Auditorium. Local groups including rug hookers, spinners, weavers, and embroiderers will demonstrate their fine work and answer questions from visitors. We hope you will visit!
Ohio Mart is also the time to shop for needlework bargains in the Stitchers’ Fair tent. For children visiting Ohio Mart on the weekend, the Children’s Corner tent will be offering a free introductory project with members on hand to assist.
