Art Quilters Celebrate Independence Quilt Show in New Hope Pennsylvania

The historic Phillips’ Mill Community Association of New Hope, PA presents “Art Quilters Celebrate Independence,” a juried, touring exhibition featuring artwork by members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) of Pennsylvania in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Juried by award-winning fiber artist Jill Kerttula, the show consists of 39 innovative quilted artworks exploring the broad meaning of independence, dom of expression, and democratic values in our country today while exemplifying exciting conceptual and technical departures from quilting tradition that affirm the art quilt as a contemporary fine art medium.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, November 15 – December 13, 2026, 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Guest speaker Meg Cox will present a new talk at the Mill, “Art Quilts: An Introduction for Art Lovers + Collectors”, November 17 at 7:30. Tickets , for Phillips’ Mill members.

Two special Thursdays welcome quilt guilds groups at a 50% discount for groups of 10 or more. November 19 and December 3, 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Advance registration for groups required. A Holiday Gift Shop featuring distinctive textile and fiber creations by Mill member artisans will be open for the duration of the exhibition.
