Albertville
Sew Blessed Quilters’ Guild. We have 25 members who pay $15.00 a year in dues. We meet every second Tuesday of each month at Union Grove Baptist Church #1 in Albertville. We do a block of the month, new techniques, sew-ins, and make quilts for the homeless. We end our meeting with lunch, door prizes, and fellowship. Memory Makers Quilt Guild. We have 20 members. Dues are $12 a year. We meet on the second and fourth Mondays at 6 PM in the senior’s cabin in the Sportsplex. Auburn-Opelika
Cotton Boll Quilters meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn. We have several sub-groups: a morning and evening birthday block group, an applique group. Our meetings often include a hands-on program, and show and tell which is a highlight in our meetings. There are frequent workshops; we make quilts for the local women’s shelter, the local hospice facility, and others as the need arises. The Birmingham Quilters Guild.180+ members. Dues $25 per year. Meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Homewood Senior Center. Social Hour, Block of the Month, Fat Quarter Drawings, Cuddle Quilts, Retreats, National Teachers, Workshops, Monthly Programs, Great Show and Tell, and QuiltFest every other year. The Heart of Dixie Quilters Guild is open to all who are interested in quilts and the art of quilting. Dues are $20 per year. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church. We sponsor challenges, retreats, workshops, classes, and other programs. Blount County
Blount County Quilters Guild The purpose of our guild is to promote and preserve the art and quality of quilts and quilting, through friendship, knowledge, and encouragement to others. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-2 and the Second and fourth Saturdays 10-2, in the Quilter’s Cottage, located at Palisades Park, Oneonta, Alabama. Membership dues are $18 the first year, which includes a membership pin, and then $12 each year after that. We offer a family membership price for family members living in the same household. We offer classes to members each month, work on a fundraiser quilt to be raffled off, and a membership quilt to be drawn for each year. We give to many charities including St. Judes and Hospice.

Clanton
CHILTON COUNTY COTTONPATCH QUILTERS meet every second and fourth Thursday of the month at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Chilton County Office, 504 1st Ave in Clanton from 1-2:30 p.m. We have about 20 members dues are $10 a year. Nimble Thimble Quilter’s
We meet once a month on the second Thursday at 9:30AM at the St. Andrew’s Methodist Church, 615 Main Avenue SW, Fellowship Hall, Cullman, AL. After the short business meeting, we have lunch (bring your own) followed by a program that includes sewing, quilting, embroidery type projects or demonstrations and lectures on various techniques and styles. Heartland Quilt Guild
We were organized in 2001. We have about 52 members. Dues are $25 a year. We meet on the second Thursday night of the month at Christ Covenant Church, 1310 St Joseph Dr, Cullman, Alabama. Refreshments are served about 6:00 pm with the meeting starting at 6:30. We always have show ‘n tell and a speaker or program of some type. We sponsor a local charity every year. Land Of Cotton Smocking Guild
The Land Of Cotton Smocking Arts Guild aims to preserve and foster the art of smocking and related needlework for future generations through education, communication, and quality workmanship. Heirloom sewing We are a Chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America, SAGA. Our twenty-seven members are also members of SAGA. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at ten o’clock at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church, 206 South County Road 9, Newton (Wicksburg), Al. We bring our lunch and have a monthly fundraising raffle of sewing items, books, and magazines. We offer a variety of learning experiences at our meetings, including smocking, heirloom sewing, Ribbon Embroidery, Hand Embroidery, crocheting, and making an iron caddy. Through our Wee Care Project, we provide preemie and micro-preemie size clothing, hats and bonnets, blankets, burp cloths, isolette covers, and other items parents and hospital NICUs need to care for the smallest babies. The Heritage Quilters of Huntsville meets the third Thursday of each month at Faith Presbyterian Church, located at 5003 Whitesburg Drive. We are a 300+ member group and growing. Joy Quilt Guild
Est in 2004. We have about 40 members. Our annual dues are $20 if you are under the age of 80, free if you are 80 or older. We currently meet at the Westside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall 713 Mountain St., Jacksonville, AL  36265 the 2nd Tuesday of each month for business meeting. Our Sew Day is the 3rd Tuesday of each month, at the Fellowship Hall of the West Weaver Baptist Church at 1021 Otsego Ave, Weaver, AL 36277. We hold two in-house retreats each year (door prizes, activities, craft yard-sale); have activities each month at the meeting and a small 3-4 hour class on different techniques after the business meeting. We make items for area homeless shelters, nursing homes, and the local hospital as well as having a Comfort/Prayer Quilt committee. Meetings often include a speaker from an area organization.
