SUMMARY:2025 Quilt Show: Heartland Revival in Cullman AL
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 1\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday\, August 2\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nThis is a judged quilt show presented by the Heartland Quilters Guild. \n\n\n\nWe will have Vendors\, a Quilters Guild Store\, Free Live Demonstrations on the hour\, Door Prizes\, and a Drawing for a Donation Quilt\, “Peace in My Heart” at 1:45 pm Saturday (drawing tickets for the donation quilt can be purchased at the event\, and one drawing ticket is included with an adult admission; you need not be present to win). \n\n\n\nFriday’s demonstrations include Hand Quilting; Quilt-as-You-Go Hexagon; Layering & Binding a Quilt; Redwork; Wool Applique; Machine Embroidery; Serging. \n\n\n\nSaturday’s demonstrations include Applique Quilting; Rope Bowls; Embellishing with Buttons; Printed Grid Foundation Piecing. \n\n\n\nAdmission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. SUMMARY:Quilters Neighborhood Quilt Show in Pickens SC
DESCRIPTION:The Upcountry Quilters Guild’s (UQG) biennial quilt show seeks to foster the art of quilting with a display of more than 100 handmade quilts in several categories. Guild members will also showcase their “My Hometown” challenge quilts. Show highlights include fat quarter basket drawing\, UQG Boutique\, Second Time Around Shop and vendor booths. In addition\, attendees have an opportunity to win the “Quilters Neighborhood” presentation quilt. Tickets will be sold at the door. Entry fee is $5.
