Redbud Quilt Guild has about 100 members, who pay $15/year in dues. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 10:00 am at the Anderson First Baptist Church, 907 N Raible Ave. We have a quilt show every two years. We enjoy learning about all aspects of quilting and making and donating charity projects.

Spinning Spools Quilt Guild meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except June and July) at the Auburn First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall,1203 E 7th Street, Auburn, IN. August’s meeting is a Sewing Day with no business meeting. Social time begins at 9:15am and our meeting begins at 10:00am. Visitors are welcome so please check us out! Swiss Stitichers Quilt Guild. We meet at 7 PM on the 4th Monday of the month at the Swiss Village Social Corner. We have a Quilt Show every summer at Swiss Days ( the last weekend of July), where we have a feature quilter or featured types of quilts and have a raffle quilt. Memory Makers Quilt Guild of Greene County: Newly formed guild and growing strong. We have 30 something members and several beelets. Sew ‘n Tell Quilt Guild was started in April of 2005 to promote quilting in the Southern Indiana area and share our quilting experiences with others. Our Mission: To promote and share the art of quilting. Our guild meets every 4th Thursday at the Ohio Falls United Methodist Church at 917 S. Virginia Ave in Clarksville, Indiana. Doors open at 5:30 and the meeting starts at 6:00. We usually finish up around 8:00 – 8:30. We enjoy sharing our talents, demonstrating new techniques, and displaying our latest works with one another. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is rather you are novice or an expert quilter, EVERYONE is welcomed. Columbia City/Whitley Co.
Whitley County Country Quilters was created for the purpose of sharing experiences and interests related to quilting arts and crafts. We have about 50 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet on the last Tuesday of each month at the Grace Lutheran Church, 204 N. Main Street, Columbia City, IN 46725. Our regular meeting begins with refreshments, provided by members, at 6:00 pm. There is also the option to meet at 4:00 pm to socialize, work on projects or get assistance with any quilting questions. We have a program, show and tell, and our group contributes to many charitable causes and projects. We have provided quilts for Quilts of Valor, Project Linus, and make newborn-sized quilts for the neonatal units in local hospitals. We also hold a weekend retreat each year in the Fall.
Our group includes quilters of all levels–beginners to advanced. If you have an interest in sharing your love for quilts and quilting with others, come join us for a fun experience. Columbus Star Quilters
Columbus Star Quilters, which is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, meet at 9:30 a.m. the first Thursday of every month except July. Meetings include guild business, a presentation and/or lesson, and show and tell. We are engaged in year-round charitable quilting, and have several quilting classes throughout the year. Heritage Quilters of Crown Point Heritage Quilters meeting at the First United Methodist Church, 352 S. Main Street, Crown Point, IN 46307, at 10 am every other Tuesday from the first Tuesday after Labor Day until mid Junegathers for social time and refreshments at 9 am followed by a business meeting or program at 10 am. Guests are welcome. There is a $5 fee when there is a scheduled speaker. Member dues are $30 annually. Activities may include a guest speaker and trunk show, classes, workshops, block of the month, challenges, drawings, and show and tell. The group also plans bus trips and attends an annual quilting retreat. The Guild sews and donates comfort quilts for several charity organizations. Fundraisers include an annual raffle quilt and a biennial quilt show. Fellowship luncheons are held in June and December. The Guild was formed in 1974 to promote the art of quilt making and to preserve the history and lore of textile art. The art of quilting is important because it encourages knowledge, individual creativity, and an appreciation of textiles which can be passed to future generations. Heartland Quilters are a fun group of quilters who possess all skill levels from beginner to accomplished quilters and are eager to share our talents and learn new skills. Raintree Quilters Guild
Raintree Quilters Guild has about 125 members and meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. at the SWIRCA Ivy Room, 16 West Virginia, Evansville, IN 47710 (Check the website for the rare exceptions to date or time.) To help us stretch our horizons we have one or more challenge projects annually plus some round robins. We also make quilts for charitable groups as well as placemats for Meals on Wheels clients, and port pillows for Chemo Buddies to cushion the ports from seatbelts. We hold classes by regional and national quilt teachers 3 to 4 times a year. Those teachers are also among the meeting program speakers. We hold a big quilt show in September of odd-numbered years and we raffle off a beautiful quilt that same year with the drawing in December. Guild members conduct a few all-day workshop classes each year. And we also associate with an active Quilts of Valor group. The Patoka Valley Quilt Guild is open to people who wish to learn and to share their love of quilts. PVQG meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month in the Mobile Room at the Ferdinand Community Center in Ferdinand, IN. Each meeting features a program on a particular quilting topic. These programs give members the opportunity to learn new skills or brush up on traditional techniques. Nimble Thimble of Johnson County The quilt club holds monthly meetings at the Johnson County Extension Office, 484 N. Morton Street, Franklin, Indiana. Meetings start at 9 a.m. on the first Friday of each month (with no meetings in July and December). Creativity captures the senses these days. Meeting days consist of introduction to new projects, show-n-tell, and sewing or quilting technique demonstrations. Akoma Ntoso Modern Quilt Guild meets at 501 N Shortridge Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Tuesday Night Strippers. We are a five-member quilt guild that meet every other Tuesday night. We have secret sister, classes, field trips to different fabric stores every month, charity quilts, quilt for the cure raffle and demonstrations.
Pioneer Land Quilters. We are 8 – 10 ladies that hand quilt 2 – 3 times per week. We have no dues but donate all our work toward the LaPorte County Pioneer Land Project. Rivertown Quilters
Rivertown Quilters meets monthly at Tanner Valley United Methodist Church – 19235 Indiana Route 1, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm. We have over 40 members and our dues are 25$ for the year. Monthly meetings consist of a business meeting and short program that might include a speaker, group project, or social event, followed by Show and Tell. There is a Soup and Sew Day monthly on the second Saturday of the month. Our members range from beginner to experienced, and enjoy all types of quilts from traditional to modern. We believe in helping out the community by making quilts for the Quilt of Valor program, and other local charities. There is an annual retreat in the fall. The Lawrenceburg Modern Quilt Guild meets on the second Tuesday of each month (except December) at 6:30 pm at the Lawrenceburg Public Library. We have an annual show and Celebration each July, usually the 3rd weekend. There are two quilt shows, lectures, workshops, and the new honoree is inducted into the Hall of Fame. Our guild was formed in 1996. At present we have 60 members, of which about 25-30 attend monthly meetings. We collect $5.00 at each meeting a person attends. We meet once amonth on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Middlebury Public Library, 101 Winslow St. Middlebury IN 46540. We are a small group of quilters ranging in skill levels from novice to advanced. Everyone interested in quilting is invited to attend our meetings. We provide quilting news about events in our area, provide demonstrations, show and tell of our projects, have sewing days for working on group projects and friendly conversations.
