Altoona
The Eastern Polk Quilters’ Guild meets monthly to advance the members’ knowledge and enjoyment of quilts and quilting. See our web page for more information. Ames
Ames Quilt Guild
The Ames Quilt Guild was established in 2016 and has over 60 members interested in fun, food and fabric! Dues are $40 per calendar year. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at First United Methodist Church, 516 Kellogg Ave. There is a social gathering starting at 6 p.m., followed by a short business meeting at 6:30, a program, and show and tell. Anamosa
Calico Cut Ups Quilt Club. We meet 9:00-12:00 on Saturdays in the fall/winter and 7:00-9:00 pm Monday evenings in the spring/summer at the Lawrence Community Center. Members pay $20.00 a year in dues. At monthly meetings, we have a show and tell, fat quarter swaps, challenge blocks and donate quilts to various charities. Ankeny
Ankeny Area Quilters’ Guild. We are only 14 years old and already our guild has grown to nearly 200 members. Our dues are $25.00/yearly and our year starts each September. We welcome new members and encourage you to join anytime. We meet at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 517 SW Des Moines St, Ankeny, IA in the Fellowship Hall at 7 pm the second Tuesday of each month. Our mission is to promote quilting to all that are interested. We host one of Iowa’s largest quilt shows during the second weekend of July each year which runs consecutively with Ankeny’s SUMMERFEST celebration. This is our biggest money-maker for our guild and the funds go to promoting quilting by bringing in nationally known quilters several times a year to speak at our meetings. Belmond
Prairie Homestead Quilt Guild meets the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Jenison-Meacham Art Center north of Belmond.  Jenison-Meacham Art Center / 1179 Taylor Ave. / Belmond, IA There are no dues.  Presently we have approximately 15 members.  Each monthly meeting consists of “Show & Tell” (members sharing completed projects), shop sales & retreat updates, and a quilting-related demonstration given by a member.  There are several fun guild challenges sprinkled in throughout the year!  The guild hosts two retreats each year- one in the spring and one in the fall. We do an annual road trip to a pre-selected quilt shop and restaurant each spring.  Our guild donates baby quilts to babies in families during Christmas time that are assisted by the local Cheer Fund.  Members work together each year to construct a raffle quilt that is a fundraiser for the J-M Art Center.  Drawing is held in August during the annual Antique Power Show- in which time the guild members also have a “Clothes Line Quilt Show”.  Prairie Quilters also host a quilt show every other year at the J-M Art Center.  New members are welcome!  For further information contact my email address at moc.liamtohobfsctd@b__aicram (That’s TWO underscores between first name and last initial.)

Heartwarmer’s Quilt Guild We have about 20 members who pay $20.00 a year in dues. We meet at 7 pm on the last Thursday of the month at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center. Keepsake Quilters meets on the 3rd Monday of the month (except December) at Bethlehem Lutheran Church,4000 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls IA, at 7 PM. We have approx. 160 members. Dues are $30 per year. Visitors are welcome!! We have a monthly program and special workshops throughout the year. We have block-of-the-month swaps, fat quarter swaps, workshops, bus trips, a fall and spring retreat, charity quilts, and a quilt show every other year. Material Girlz Quilt Guild meets the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Methodist Church basement on N. Main in Centerville Ia. The meeting starts at 230, basic quilting starts at 130. Chariton Valley Piecemakers. We have about 65 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of the month (except December 1st Monday) at First Lutheran Church, 1004 Curtis Ave., in Chariton. We welcome new members, beginners or advanced. Patchwork Pals Quilt Guild in Charles City, IA has been an active guild for five years. The guild meets the first Monday of every month except for the months of January and July at the Bethany Alliance Church. Annual dues are $15.00. The guild has forty-five members who are active in promoting quilting and sharing their quilting skills. The guild has several on-going service projects. New members and visitors are always welcome. Clarinda
Scrap Happy Quilt Guild meets at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 322 N. 16th Street, Clarinda, IA 51632. The guild began in 1991. Our 22 members pay $15 dues per year. Guests are welcome! We meet at Westminster (above) at 6 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. If it is on a holiday, we punt. We support the local animal shelter, 4-H programs at the Page County Fair, and distributed fidget quilts to nursing homes. We have sewing Saturdays twice a year in lieu of a regular meeting (another punt), have demos by member or shop owners, learn new techniques, mystery or challenge quilts, etc. Quilt shows with a raffle quilt are usually every three years. NorthEast Iowa Quilters’ Guild
NorthEast Iowa Quilters’ Guild is a guild of approximately 70 members. Meetings are held in the Community Room of the Luana Savings Bank 100 Harvest Drive, Luana IA 52156 on the first Tuesday of each month. Afternoon meetings are at 2:00 pm – evening meetings are at 7:00 pm. All meetings are shared via Zoom for members – January and February meetings are Zoom only. Programs are the same for each meeting. Dues are $20 per year. Classes and a Retreat are held along with a quilt show in October of event numbered years. Heart-to-Heart quilt guild meets with about 25 members the first Tuesday of every month. We have dues of $10.00 per year but get back so much more!! We have secret sisters, fat quarter exchanges, and usually a project ongoing in smaller groups that is voluntary, such as row-by-row exchanges, border exchange, block
exchange. We do a quilting service project of some type each year for the local hospital for allowing us to meet in their conference room. we schedule all day sews, retreats, and classes with a variety of instructors. Northstar Quilt Guild. We meet the second Monday of each month at the Public Library at 7 p.m. All are welcome. We have a fabric swaps, secret sister, a demonstration each month, a guest lecture in the fall, work/sewing days. We participate in Hospice, and have participated in quilts for Special Olympics Raffle, Crystal House (single mothers) ABC quilts, Burn Survivor Camp graduation quilts. We do a quilt show. Members are asked to participate in our events, provide refreshments at one meeting per year; and may provide the demonstration once per year.

Fairfield
Northside Strippers Quilt Guild meets on the second Thursday of every month at the county extension office at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 2606 W. Warren County Piecemakers. We have about 45 members who pay $20.00 in yearly dues. We meet the 4th Monday of every month at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of Ashland and C Streets. We have block of the month kits, fat quarter drawings, and provide educational speakers for all members.

Iowa City
Old Capitol Quilters Guild meets the second Monday (except August) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2301 East Court Street, Iowa City, Iowa (corner of 1st Ave. and Court Street at 7 pm). Monthly programs vary from local and national speakers, to hands on projects and workshops focusing on varied skill levels. Monthly meetings also include a show and tell session and guild library. Annual dues are $20.00 which includes the newsletter. All who are interested in quilting are welcome, come early to socialize and browse through the guild library. Laurens Town and Country Quilters. We have 40 members who pay $10. a year in dues. We meet at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at the United Methodist Church in Laurens. We have a block of the month, classes and trips, and do a bed turning every other year. Instead of paying rent for the church we make a yearly quilt for the Methodist In Gathering.

Luana
Northeast Iowa Quilt Guild meets the first Tue of the month with meeting times at 2 pm and 7 pm. Most meetings have a program planned with different paid presenters and some meetings are done by guild members. We have a guild retreat and the quilt show happens every other year. Located in Monona Iowa at the high school, 100 Harvest Dr Luana, IA 52156. Our guild is around 60 members that come from about a 69 mile radius of our meeting area. Blue Water Quilters’ Guild
Established in September 2006, Blue Water Quilters’ Guild is a group of northwestern Iowa and southwestern Minnesota quilt makers of all ability levels. Meetings are held on third Mondays (except December) at First Lutheran Church, 1525 Three Cross Rd, Milford IA 51351 (off Hwy. 86; front entrance adjacent to the parking lot). The guild has over 40 members who pay $20 dues annually. Guests are welcome to visit and see what we are doing; sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. with social time and refreshments. Newton Piecemakers. We have about 35 members who pay $15.00 a year in dues. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at the St. Luke United Methodist Church, 501 E 19th St N in Newton. We have a quilt show every three years. We have a program at each of our meetings and do many charity projects to benefit Newton and the surrounding area. Four Seasons Quiltmakers. We have about 30 members, who pay $7.50 a year in dues.We met at the Masonic Temple on the 1st Saturday of each month, except December at 1:30 p.m. We have secret sisters, classes and demonstrations, lottery block exchanges, and make quilts for unfortunate children.

Osage
Cedar Valley Quilters. We have aprox. 65 members and area always looking for new faces/friends. We pay $15 /year in dues. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the last Monday of the month at the Lutheran Church in Osage. We do not meet in Dec. We have a block of the month program , we meet during the school year on one Weds. per month to work on our program of Quilts of Compassion which we share in the communities represented by our group. Clarke County Piecemakers quilt guild has members from the south central area of Iowa. Sioux City
Siouxland Samplers Quild We have about 85 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 7pm on the second Monday of the month at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sioux City. We have a program each month, classes throughout the year, quilt raffle, are involved in several community service projects, and in the odd year we do a quilt show. Twice a year we have a yummy potluck with a fun game and quilt show and tell.

Sioux County
Sioux Prairie Quilters Located in Northwest Iowa, our quilt guild pursues the art of quilting through monthly meetings, programs,and workshops. We enjoy working towards our annual quilt show at Orange City’s Tulip Festival the third weekend in May each year. We created and now have available for rent,a Legacy Quilt that is usable with the musical production, ” The Quilter”.

Stacyville

Cedar County Piece Makers. We meet the 4th Monday of each month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Educational Building of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 West 7th St., Tipton, IA 52772. We are newly organized (August, 1999) and have approximately 40 members.

Walnut
Nishnabotna Valley Quilter’s Guild meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at Calvary Baptist Church in Walnut, Iowa.  Our Facebook page is  Nishnabotna Valley Quilt Guild 2.0.  We have approximately 20 members.  Our dues are $20 per year.  We welcome guest for 2 visits.  Our membership is open to 18 years and older.   We love making charity quilts for shelters, hospitals, and for other non-profits to use for fund raisers.  Each meeting includes demos, show and tell and often fun games.  Join us.  Leave us a message on our FB page to contact one of our members. Wellsburg
Knot Sew Perfect Piecers. We have about 30 members that meet at the United Reformed Church in Wellsburg the first Monday of each month, with few exceptions due to holidays. We have a fat quarter drawing at each meeting for those who chose to participate. We’ve participated in a few contests together and individually. Williamsburg
Iowa County Heartland Quilters, We have about 35 members who pay $12 a year dues. We meet at 7 pm on the third Monday of the month at the Williamsburg Library. We have an bi-annual quilt show coming up on Aug. 18-19, 2017 at the St.Mary’s Hall on Hwy 149 & Penn St. Williamsburg,IA just off I-80; This year our study was on Scrap Quilting and also involved with the Quilts of Valor Foundation for veterans; community service quilts, lap robes, etc. for local organization; assist 4-H girls sewing projects and etc. For information contact Jeannette Peirce – 319-668-2362 or moc.liamgobfsctd@4542ecriepj

Winterset
Covered Bridge Quilters We have 40 members who meet the 3rd. Monday of each month at 6:30 PM We offer programs, show & tell, trunk shows and local quilter programs. We meet at the Winterset Public Library. We have an annual quilt show that coordinates with the Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset, the second full weekend in October.
