The mission of the Canadian Quilters Association is to promote and celebrate quilting and Canadian quilters by preserving the traditions of those who have come before us while looking to new and creative ways to enhance quilting for the present and future. CQA is dedicated to preserving the traditions of quilting, supporting current trends in quilt making, and providing a forum for Canadian quilters of all ages and levels to share and learn about the Canadian quilting scene. CQA works with individuals, professionals, guilds, and the industry through its annual conference and workshops, its magazine, social media, the certified judging program, and its various programs and events.

Common Threads meets about every 2nd Monday at the St. James Anglican Church, 503 Park Ave. Our goal as a group is to learn from each other and help anyone who wants to learn as well as just have some good old fashioned camaraderie and fun. Barnswallow Quilters We have over 40 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet every Monday nite at Morden Collegiate Institute Home
Ec. Room from 7 pm to 10 pm and every Wednesday at the Morden Friendship Centre board room from 11 am till 4 pm. We do a raffle quilt together each year, a block of the month squares, workshops, and classes as well as some wonderful pot luck meals and an annual Quilt Show. Tangled Threads Quilt Guild, Neepawa, MB meets the first Tuesday of the month at the basement of the Anglican Church at 7 PM.

Winnipeg Modern Quilt Guild
AuroraOnLineQuilters We have about 30 members who pay $3 per once a month meetings. We meet from 10 am to 3 pm on a Saturday, usually the 2nd last of the month at the Charleswood 55+ Active Living Centre. We enjoy a potluck lunch and the company of fellow quilters and share tips and techniques, show and tell, working on charity quilts or our own projects.
