Mississippi Quilt Association–statewide organization of 500 members. We have three Gatherings a year in different parts of the state. We also invite a nationally known teacher to teach two-day classes in three locations. For more information, visit our website.


Bay Saint Louis
Bay Oaks Quilt Guild
Kiln/Diamondhead. We have approx. 45 members who pay $15 per year in dues. We meet at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at the Kiln Library. The 2nd Thursday is a business meeting, the 4th Thursday is program night. We host classes, an annual retreat, sit-n-sew events, sew-n-draw events, and we put on a quilt show every other year. Biloxi
Sewfull Stitchers We meet at 9:AM on the 4th Friday of each month at the D’Iberville Library in D’Iberville.A Bee meets on the fist down Friday of each month. We have a block of the month drawing at the regular meeting, and a fat quarter drawing at each meeting. We have mystery quilts, round robins, programs. Brandon
Brandon Quilt Guild. We have 71 members who pay $12/yr in dues. We meet at 6:30pm the first Monday of each month at the Brandon Public Library. We have interesting programs and a monthly sit and sew. Lucy Large ten.htuosllebobfsctd@elegral

Canton
Allison Well’s Quilt Guild. We have about 20 members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet every Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 12 noon at the Canton Visitors and Convention Center on the square in downtown Canton. Our business meeting is on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Columbia
Jessie’s Girls of Quilters. We meet every other Tuesday and the 3rd Saturday of each month. We have about 15 members that meet to sew, talk and learn new projects. We swap 2 1/2 inch strips once a year and then we take turns to bring a pattern for all of us to try on our Saturday that will create a beautiful scrappy top with our strips. Columbus
Possum Town Quilters. We have around 35 members that pay $15 a year for membership dues. We meet in the ARTs center basement on the third Saturday of the month. We have classes, programs, raffle quilts, charity quilts and we put on a show in the summer. We also schedule a sit and sew day on the first Monday of the month, but check the blog for updates.

Decatur
Busy Hands Quilting Guild. We have 29 paying members who pay $10.00 a year dues. We meet the second Tuesday of each month at Fellowship Hall of Decatur United Methodist Church, Broad Street in Decatur, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and going through 4:00 p.m. We do different charity projects each year and have classes and one trip per year. DeSoto
Quilting In The Grove. We have about 20 participating members who pay $10.00 a year in dues. We meet at 10:00 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month in Fellowship Hall of Decatur United Methodist Church on Broad Street in Decatur. Most of our programs are given by members. We participate in the Church Food Bank every 3 months. We also have different charity projects each year.

Diamondhead
Bay Oaks Quilt Guild. Meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at the United Methodist Church, Diamondhead, MS at 6:30 pm. First meeting is a business meeting and the second meeting is usually an educational program or workshop. Quilt shows held in odd years. Membership is currently 45 quilters. Dues are $15 annually, $1 for junior members under 16.

Flowood
Quilters by Heart’s Desire. Expanding friendships of those dedicated to the art of quiltmaking and fiberarts through education and fellowship. With over 60 members of all skill levels, QBHD guild meets the 3rd Monday of every month (except December) at 7 pm at St. Mark’s Methodist Church,400 Grant’s Ferry. Dues are $10 a year. Gulfport
Magnolia Quilters of Orange Grove
We have about 30 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 5pm the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 11213 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39503. For the 2024 year, we have a Row block challenge, fat quarter drawings, door prizes, and classes. Come visit us and be ready to have fun. Hernando
Quilter’s On The Square. We have about 30 members who pay $12 a year in dues. We meet from 10-noon each Tuesday at the Hernando Library. We have fat quarter bingo, a sampler bee (block of the month), classes, trips, birthday club, and lots of community projects. We currently have 8 Bee’s that meet throughout the month. Lucedale
Melon Patch Quilters- Dues are $20.00 the first year, then $15.00. We meet twice a month at the library, 507 Oak St. Business meeting on the 4th Thursday 6:00 p. m. & sew day 9 till 2 on the third Saturday. We exchange friendship blocks 3-4 times a year, a show every other year, and make adult bibs and lap quilts for the elderly. Contact moc.liamgobfsctd@45nujacd for more information.

Luka
Needle Chasers Quilt Guild of Tishomingo County. We have about 35 members from all over the Northeast Mississippi region and meet monthly, the first Monday at Iuka Library at 1 p.m. We have an educational program and show-n-tell at every meeting. Also, applique (handwork) small group meets on the third Monday in a member home. We enjoy an annual retreat, will have a fall quilt show in 2007, plus a couple of workshops and classes each year. All levels of quilters are invited! We have a great group of sweet and hard-working ladies who make this guild a great one!

Jackson
Jackson Quilters. We have 80 members on our roll. We meet on the fourth Monday of each month (Jan-Oct) at the MS Baptist Adult Day Services located at 6250 Old Canton Road. Our dues are $15, $12 for 65yrs and above. We are in our fourth year of making quilts for the local Ronald McDonald House. We have a quilt show every other year. This year our show will be July 28 from 10A to 4P and July 29 from 1P to 4P at the Lewis Art Gallery located in the Academic Complex of Millsaps College. Admission, is $3. Riverside Quilters, Riverside Baptist Church 6191 Espy Ave
We meet the third Saturday of the month at 3pm. It is our goal to foster a love of not just quilting but of all things sewing. We welcome all ages and skills levels. We have classes for beginners as well as fun projects for seasoned quilters. Each monthly meeting has sit n sew time built in so feel free to bring your projects with you. We have machines to use for your convenience but you are welcome to bring yours along if you prefer. No annual dues are required.

Melon Patch Quilt Guild
We have about 22 members who meet once a month on the 4th Thursday of each month at the quilt house, located at 288 Dick Hobby Rd in Lucedale. We meet to sit and sew different projects led by members from 9-12. Our business meeting begins at 12. We either bring our own lunch or share a lunch prepared by a member. Our guild is a member of the QOVF. In addition we make quilts to give to members of the community who have experienced a crises or loss, including quilts for children which we donate to the sheriff’s department. We also make Christmas gift bags for seniors. Meridian
Magnolia Quilt Guild meets at the Bonita RV Park Hwy 19 Rec Center at 9 am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at the Rec Center at Bonita RV Park. We welcome guests. Dues are $20 a year. Quilting in the Grove
Quilting in the Grove is a group of approximately 50 members who meet the second Monday of the Month at the Olive Branch Senior Center, 8800 College St, Olive Branch, MS 38654.  Fellowship and problem solving is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  Meeting starts at 10:00 AM.  We do various group projects, including Charity Quilts,  throughout the year as well as collect items for the Food Bank, have monthly Fat Quarter drawings, and a Block of the Month.  Dues are $20.00 annually. Prentiss
The Annie Lou Quilting Club is dedicated to bringing together quilters of all types in a ministry of fellowship and service. We offer pictures, tutorials, and stories from the members of our club.

Tupelo.
GumTree Quilters Guild. We meet on the first Tuesday at All Saints Episcopal Church on Jefferson Street at 7:00 PM. We welcome quilters, new and old, as well as anyone interested in quilts

Wiggins
Pine Needle Quilters. We have about 25 members who pay $12 a year in dues. We meet at 6:30 P. M. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Stone County Library in Wiggins. We have planned programs each month, participate in making quilts for needy children, Stone County Fair, and other projects. We also have guest instructors. We sponsor a show every other year in even years. Part of the proceeds from the Donation quilt will be used for scholarships for Commercial Arts Students on the Perkinston Campus.
