The Piece Corps Quilters of Afton, NY meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the church hall of the United Methodist Church of Afton on Spring St. All are welcome.

Albion
Orleans County Quilt Guild. Our small group meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 1:00. We offer demos, show & tell, assistance, road trips, and friendship. Some members also get together every other Monday to work on individual or charity projects. New members are welcome. Q.U.I.L.T. inc Meeting at Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave., Delmar, NY 12054. We have members at all skill levels. We meet at 9:30 to noon on the second Friday of each month (September to June). A brief business meeting is followed by a speaker. We have a large library and a mini mart. Show and Share is held at the end of the meeting. Membership is $35 per year. Each year we donate many quilts to several service groups, homeless shelters, hospitals and for raffles. Log Cabin Quilters’ Guild. Newly formed guild in the Lake Champlain Region, meeting 2nd Sunday of each month, at Maw &Paw Fabrics and Crafts in Altona. Dues $15.00 per year, Visitors welcome. Amherst
Amherst Museum Quilters Guild,3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, NY 14228, contact person, Betty Lerner, President, 716-689-1440. We meet on the third Thursday of the Month, beginning at 7 p.m. Our guid offers an annual four-day quilt seminar in September, this year featuring Nancy Johnson Srebro, Kay England and Mary Stori. We do a raffle quilt each year with the proceeds split between the Guild and the Amherst Museum, a historical site owned by the Town of Amherst (a suburb of Buffalo). We conduct a three-day quilt show every other year in the even years. We have a quit challenge, a miniature auction with over 90 items, and we normally hang over 350 pieces in our show. The Museum is located on the Erie Canal, we are less than 20 miles from Niagara Falls. We also boast about being an international quilt guild, since several of our members come from nearby Southern Ontario. We are about 150 members strong, dues are $20.00 which also includes membership to the Museum itself and a discount on purchases. We have a monthly newsletter. Catskill Mountain Quilters Hall of Fame

The purpose of this organization is to recognize those quilters of the Catskill Mountain Region of New York State comprised of the counties of Delaware, Greene, Schoharie, Sullivan and Ulster, who have contributed to the art of quilting by their excellence in workmanship and have ensured the future of quilting by preserving its history and by the sharing of knowledge. Nominees for induction into the Hall of Fame must reside in one of the five counties of the Catskill Mountain Region. Inductees who move to a place of residence outside of the five county Hall of Fame region will retain their membership.  We have our Spring meeting, Summer Picnic, and Fall Meeting.  Even years we have a show, and odd years we have inductee nominations and induction ceremonies.

Candlelight Quilt Guild, We have about 52 members. Dues $20. per year. We meet at the Baldwinsville Public Library on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The meeting starts @ 7pm. Each month we have a fabric exchange, fabric raffle and name tag gift. Our charity work changes each year. We have a quilt show every 2 years. Museum Quilt Guild meets at the VA Medical Center, Batavia, NY 3rd Saturday of each month @9:30.
We have 100 members who pay $20/year in dues. We meet monthly at the VA Medical Center , Bldg 4 in Batavvia, NY. We welcome quilters and non quilters of any expertise and levels. We host a quilt show every other year and a national teacher every other year.

Brockport
Country Neighbors Quilt Guild Brockport, New York 14420. We meet at 7pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the Brockport Exempts Club on Rt.31 in Brockport, NY. Our annual Dues are $18.00. Western NY Modern Quilters We are a small (currently 25 members) but growing group dedicated to quilting with a modern or contemporary twist. We meet the third Saturday of every month (but have been known to take field trips to local quilt shops for a presentation instead) at the Julia Boyer-Reinstein Library on Losson Rd. in Cheektowaga, NY, from 11a to 1p. Burnt Hills:
Quilt North We have over 100 members who pay $25.a year in dues. We have Block of the Month, Sell tickets for our opportunity table and have various challenges. This year it is a UGLY fabric block. Caledonia Quilt Guild We have 35 members who pay $35 per year. We meet at 6:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 W. Main Street, Caledonia, NY on the 1st Thursday each month. We have a BOM, workshops, instructors, fat quarter contest and our community service is the Veteran’s Quilt Project. We have a biennial quilt show & raffle quilt made by guild members.

Cambria Heights (Queens):

Borderline Quilters. Meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the Canton Free Library on Park Street at 1PM and 7PM. During the months of May and October, only evening meetings are held. Visitors are welcome and may attend 2 meetings prior to joining. Dues are $15.00 per year. Activities include monthly block exchange, donation quilts for the local women’s domestic violence center, secret quilting pals and a newsletter. Clarence
Clarence Log Cabin Quilters, PO Box 421, Clarence, NY 14031. The guild meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday night, 7:00 PM at the Clarence Town Park Clubhouse, 10405 Main Street (Route 5), Clarence. Monthly meetings include a short business meeting, quilt related program, refreshments and “show and tell”. Quilt North
QUILT North guild is comprised of members who share a love of quilting. The guild is dedicated to providing interesting and educational programming for our guild members and guests, to fostering an appreciation of quilt making in the community, and to contributing to the community through the charitable activities of our members. When we are able to meet in person, most of our meetings are at the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church (SUMC), 971 Route 146 Clifton Park , NY, 12065. The December meeting is our annual holiday party at the Shenendehowa Adult Community Center and our February meeting is our Comfort Quilt Sew-in day at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library. Doors open at 6:30 for our meetings at the SUMC and the meeting begins at 7:00.

(Suffolk Co) Huntington Quilters. We have about 100 members who pay $20.00 a year in dues. We meet first Tuesday of each month at Centerport United Methodist Church, in Fellowship Hall. We hold bolock of the month, lectures, demos, a yearly raffle to fund classes/programs such as our ProBono Baby Quilts which are given to a local hospital for distribution. We do not currently hold a show. We have a “sweatshop” group which meets monthly & a day group that meets 10 am-2pm on Wednesdays at E. Northport Library, Larkfield Rd. Bring a bag lunch & drop in.

Corning
Corning Quilters Guild. We are a group of about 50 quilters. We meet on the 4th Friday of the month at the September through June, at the United Methodist/First Presbyterian Church, 201 N. Delaware County Town & Country Quilters meet the 1st & 3rd Wednesday each month at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Town. We do challenge blocks, group auctions and group demos. We donate quilts to various service groups. Dues are $15.00 a year. We hold a two day quilt show every odd-numbered year at the Delaware County Historical Association. Dix Hills
Founded in October of 2013, The Long Island Modern Quilt Guild is a young and growing guild. We welcome new members of all levels, whether you are experienced, a newbie or just quilting-curious. Our guild meets monthly to explore what it means to be modern, share our latest work, inspire each other, learn from interesting speakers, sew together and give back to the community.

Wondering if you’re modern enough for the Modern Quilt Guild? Don’t worry! All are welcome! The Long Island Modern Quilt Guild is not about judging, it’s about exploring this new and growing movement.

We meet once a month, September through June, at the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills, NY. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month from 7:30-9:30PM. Yearly dues are $50 (Sept-Aug). Fayetteville
Towpath Quilt Guild, P.O. Box 188, Fayetteville, NY 13066. Meets the second Tuesday of each month at the United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, New York, The 90 plus membership includes inexperienced quilters as well as master quilters. The /guild maintains a comprehensive lending library. The Florida Quilter’s Guild meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 7:30 pm at the American Legion Hall in Florida, New York. The dues are $10.00 a year and we have approximately 24 members and we conduct periodic workshops and classes. Our membership encompasses everyone from the amateur to the expert.

Fort Drum

Freeport
LI Quilters’ Society Long Island Quilters’ Society meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at either 10am or 7pm at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 East Merrick Road in Freeport, NY. Est. in 1986, we average about 200 members. All skill levels are welcome to join and are encouraged to participate in our show every even-numbered year. Sew Busy Quilt Guild Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month from September to June (except December). Doors open at 6:15 pm. All meetings, with the exception of December, March and June, begin at 6:45 pm and include a Business Meeting, demonstrations and/or presenters, and Show & Tell. December and June meetings include a covered dish dinner at 6:00 pm. The March meeting is dedicated to service projects and also begins at 6:00 pm. Gorham
Lake to Lake Quilt Guild, Inc.

Our guild starts 2023 off with 35 members. We have an activity at nearly every business meeting. We bring in teachers both locally and nationally known to provide education for our members. We actively make baby quilts for three different charitable organizations in our area. We call ourselves Lake to Lake because we are located in the heart of the NY Finger Lake region and truly have members coming in our our meetings from several lakes. Our members have a wealth of different craft backgrounds in addition to quilting. Many are painters, we dye fabrics in the summer sometimes; we have many otters, crocheters in addition to our varied love of appliqué, modern, and traditional quilts. We have varied activities like block of the month, fabric swap and challenges as well. Like other groups, our last scheduled quilt show was cancelled by Covid. We are contemplating another show in 2024. Stay tuned. Dues are now $35/ year. We meet the first Wednesday of the month barring inclement weather at the Gorham United Methodist Church at 9 am. Business meeting starts at 10 am. Potential members are allowed to attend free. We would welcome you.

Grand Island.
River Lea Quilt Guild
Our guild has over 35 members with all levels of quilting. Our meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the large cafeteria of the Grand Island High School, 1100 Ransom Rd., Grand Island, NY, and have a business meeting and speakers or demonstrations. We welcome all visitors and hope that they will enjoy our “show and tell” section where the members share their work. We have weekend retreats and workshops led by expert quilters from beginning quilting to advanced techniques. Patchworkers. Established in 1973, the Patchworkers has about 20 members. We meet in members’ homes every Wednesday. The annual Quilt Show is Aug. 14th at St.Theresa’s Church auditorium, Windham, NY. Visit our website for more information.

Greenville Quilters-meets every Wednesday 12:30-3:30 pm in the large Community Room of the Greenville Library at 11177 Sr 32, Greenville, NY. The Greenville Quilters began in 1986 when 3 women started to quilt together. We have been meeting ever since (outside during COVID-19). Today the group has about 8 active members. We are a group who enjoy one another and seek to learn about and share our interest in the art of quilting and other fabric arts. Log Cabin Quilt Guild. We have less than 20 members who pay $10 a year in dues. We meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons at Bridle Creek Bed and Breakfast in a quilting studio. Henrietta
This club meets Tuesdays at 1pm September through June at the Public Library, 455 Calkins Road, in Henrietta. We have approximately 50 members. Regular features of meetings include show and tell as well as frequent demonstrations and/or classes by members or guests. HQC members make nearly 100 ABC quilts annually which are donated to a variety of organizations throughout the area. A quilt show is held in the fall of odd-numbered years

Northern Needles. We have about 40 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the parish center of St. Henry’s Church in Long Lake. We are not limited to just quilters but include all handwork. We meet from 10:00 to 4:00 with one business meeting the first time we meet each new month. We hold a showcase every other year. In the alternate years, we do a charity project. We have many seasonal members and they are always welcome. St. Henry’s parish center has a full kitchen so most members bring a lunch if they plan to spend the day. Funds that are raised are donated back to the local community. Genesee Valley Quilt Club, Inc. We have over 300 members, but started with 10 in 1936 which makes us the oldest continually-meeting quilt club in the country. We meet on the second Thursday of the month, Sept through June at Temple B’rith Kodesh 2123 Elmwood Ave between 9:15 and 2pm. We baste two member’s quilts a month, maintain an extensive library, do a Show & Tell which is exhibited during the day, often with 40 or more pieces, block of the menth, demos, Comfort quilts for donation, over 200 a year. We host trips annually to Schweinfurth Museum in Auburn NY to their show, host 2 renowned teachers a year, with many other programs monthly, workshops, a biannual show. Q.U.I.L.T.S. was formed in 1980 and has approximately 130 active members living in Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany, and surrounding communities. The range of quilting experience in our membership varies from beginner to expert.

Some of our members are very experienced and have taught classes and published articles and patterns. Several members have had their quilts shown on local, national, and international levels. Many of our members are beginners, who joined the guild to learn how to make quilts. No matter what the experience level, there is always something to be learned and everyone has something to share. Q.U.I.L.T.S. members meet to learn, laugh, and enjoy the quilting experience with others.

We hold a quilt show every odd year, of over 100 quilts, a boutique, silent auction, and a raffle quilt made by guild members.

Voorheesville
Village Quilters. We have about 20 members. We do not charge dues. We meet at 7:30 PM on the first Thursday of each month, September through June. We host a quilt show every other year, and create a raffle quilt every year. We have guest speakers, occasional workshops, and frequent projects for various charities. Meetings will be held at the Voorheesville Public Library starting September 2006.

Warwick Valley Quilters’ Guild
Warwick Valley Quilters’ Guild. Founded in 1982, our members represent NY, NJ, & PA. Our 100 members pay a yearly dues of $60 per year. We meet at 10am to 4pm on the 2nd Tuesday (business meeting and afternoon UFO/social time/games/demos/service projects and more; and on the 4th Tuesday (Lecture in the morning and UFO time in the afternoon.). On the 3rd Tuesday we have workshops (pre-registration $). Show and tell is held at both meetings. NORTH COUNTRY QUILTING GUILD The NCQG meets at 6:30 pm for social and 7:00 for meeting on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except June, July, August, & December) at the Black River Elementary School in Black River, NY. Guild meetings include speakers, classes, and always “Show And Tell”. NCQG has approximately 100 members who pay $15.00 a year in dues and sponsors a quilt show every other year.

Webster
The Webster Quilt Guild was established in 1975 by women who wanted to quilt.  We are currently about 100 members strong with several of the original members participating.  Our dues are $25 annually.  We meet on the 3rd Friday of the month from September through June at Holy Trinity Church, Murphy Hall, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster, New York 14580 in the Peace and Unity Room.  We have speakers, trunk shows, educational speakers and community activities.  Our charitable works are with Quilt of Valor, Bivona Child Advocacy Center, Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester and many others as needed.  Our members support a quilt show every other year.  We will be having our next show in 2025 as we will celebrate our 50th anniversary as a guild.  Guests are welcome.  Please contact moc.rr.retsehcorobfsctd@1reknips for additional information.

The Schoolhouse Quilters Guild meets at 7 pm the 2nd monday of each month at the Shepherd of The Valley church on Fassett Lane in Wellsville. We have about 30 members who pay $10 a year. We do charity quilts, raffle quilts, have guest speakers, workshops, shop hops and show & tell each month. West Nyack
Heritage Quilters of the Hudson Palisades. Our group of about 40 members of all skill levels meets the 3rd Monday of each month from September through June at St. Francis of Assisi Hall, 128 Parrot Road, West Nyack, New York. Our January meeting is our Comfort Quilt Sew-in day and our February meeting is our Veterans Quilt Sew-in day. Membership dues are $35 per year. Guests are welcome at all meetings ($5 non-member fee). We offer demonstrations, a block of the month program, member led workshops, and show and tell. We have a comprehensive lending library. We have a monthly newsletter. We make quilts for charitable efforts including comfort quilts for local hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and other service groups, as well as patriotic quilts for local veteran organizations.

Each year we have a quilt show at the Nanuet Public Library. Our 2024 show is March 9th and 10th. An annual raffle quilt is made by members with a portion of proceeds donated to a local charity. The Westfield Quilters’ Guild, established in 1993, currently has about 100 members. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at the Westfield Methodist Church, on Main Street, at 7:00 p.m. We have a short business meeting, quilting program, show and tell, and refreshments. Dues are $15.00 annually.

Wheatfield.
Twin City Quilters Guild. We have approx. 110 members. We meet at 6:30pm on the first Wednesday of the month at the Wheatfield Community Center, Church Road. We have a block and fat quarter swap at each meeting. We also have several free workshops a year and shophop once a year. We make several hundred quilts each year for Project Linus. We also do other various forms of charity work. All are welcome – from just wanting to learn to experienced quilters.

White Plains.
Village Squares Quilters Guild. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday each month at the Westchester Reform Temple, 255 Mamaroneck Road. Come early 10 am on and join a Sit-n-stitch or member tips, BYO lunch, refreshments are provided. The program begins at 1:00 pm and includes a lecture by well-known quilter and a member show and tell.
