Quilters of South Carolina is the statewide quilt guild with over 650 members. Along with quarterly newsletters, QSC sponsors two major events during the year. A fall Pieceable Retreat with over 30 classes and a Spring Meeting with a nationally known teacher who presents workshops across the state. Dues are $20.00 a year. Abbeville
Abbeville Piecemakers Quilt Guild. We have about 20 members who pay $20 a yr in dues due at the September meeting. We meet on the second Monday,10am.We meet for business/planning four times a year (Mar/June/Sept/Dec) at Center Street Cafe. The remaining months, we meet for a workshop/special program. We participate in several community events and Quilts of Valor project.

Banksia Quilter’s Society. The first meeting of a new daytime quilt group will
be on April 20, 2009, at 11:00 AM, in Aiken SC. The new Banksia Quilter’s
Society will meet on the third Monday of every month, 10:00 Am – 2:00 PM, at
the Aiken County Historical Museum. Membership is open to all who want to
enjoy or learn quilting, women, men, and children of any age. For more

Anderson
Prickly Fingers Quilters Guild.
We have about 55 members who pay $20 a year in dues. We meet at 9:30 am the
second Wednesday of the month at the Anderson County Library, 300 N.
McDuffie Street. We have a monthly program with speakers and presentations,
annual quilters’ retreat, active philanthropy program and several bee

Electric City Quilters Guild.
We have 55 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 6:30 pm at New
Covenant Church on Simpson Road in Anderson. We have a monthly a guild
library, an annual quilters’ retreat, a monthly bee, and wonderful programs.

Sea Island Quilters, Carteret Street United Methodist Church Community Room – 408 Carteret St, Beaufort, SC 29902
Sea Island Quilters has approx. 70 members who meet the third Thursday of every month at 6 pm at the Carteret Street United Methodist Church in downtown Beaufort. Our monthly meetings include a program, show-and-tell, and refreshments. We present a biannual spring quilt show (odd years), yearly challenge, and retreat. We do various charity projects and have several workshops every year. Visitors are welcome. Dues are $25/year. Maye River Quilters, Palmetto Electric Co-op, 1 Cooperative Way, Hardeeville, SC
Maye River Quilters is a non-profit organization established in 2015 to promote the art of quilting by providing opportunities through growth, education, fellowship, and community service in a friendly climate. We are a group of approximately 128 members that meet the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the Palmetto Electric Community Room at 1 Cooperative Way, Hardeeville, SC. Our dues are $30 a year and we carry on many community service projects. We also sponsor workshops for our members both from speakers outside the guild and from our talented members. Camden
Quilters of Kershaw County. We have about 50 members that pay $20 a year in dues. We meet 9:30AM – 12PM on the second Monday of the month (Sept. – June) at the Fine Arts Center, Douglas Reed Bldg, 810 Lyttleton St Camden SC 29020. We have classes and trips, a yearly fundraising auction, a secret sister program, and meet the first Monday of the month to create charity quilts. Charleston
Cobblestone Quilters serves Charleston, Berkeley, & Dorchester counties. We have over 250 members. Meetings include a program, block of the month, and show and tell. We host a show in the spring of even-numbered years. Meetings are at 7 pm on the second Thursday of the month at Yeamans’s Park Presbyterian Church, 5931 Murray Drive, Hannahan SC.
Clinton
Loose Threads Quilt Guild Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at Broad Street Methodist Church in downtown Clinton. We also host Sew Much Fun Saturdays on the 3rd Saturday of each month and meet on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 10 AM for hand-sewing and lunch at Jitter’s Café. We have about 40 members and our membership is currently $24.00 a year. We have a social time at 6:00 PM and our meeting begins at 6:30 and ends by 8:30. We offer a wide variety of programs and welcome the beginner to the seasoned professional.

Logan Lap Quilters of Metropolitan Columbia, Inc. Logan Lap Quilters was started in 1983 and currently has 60-70 members. Dues are $36 per year. We meet at 1:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month, with exceptions for holidays and special programs/classes. We have a program each month. Programs may include well-known quilters/speakers, demonstrations by experts in various quilting techniques, or classes. Logan Lap Quilters is dedicated to several charities, so there are many opportunities to quilt for various causes. We also have three weekly “sit and sew” groups, which are informal gatherings where members and non-members can bring their machines or handwork for charity projects or their own projects. Greater Columbia Quilters
Greater Columbia Quilters monthly meetings are at 10:00 AM on the 3rd Tuesday at Hope Church at 2609 Seminole Rd. with business and show & tell followed by a program. Membership is open to anyone interested in quilts or quilting. We offer programs, classes, a newsletter, bees that meet in members’ homes and charity sew day. We also participate in Quilts of Valor quilt making and presentations to current and previous service members. Scraphappy Quilters. We have started a new guild in the Conway area. We meet at 1:00 pm every other Monday. All ages and all levels welcome. Swamp Fox Quilters guild meets on the first Thursday monthly, except July. 9:30 am at Pee Dee Shrine Club, 3053 E Crescent Cir, Florence, SC 29506. We meet for Work Day on the third Thursday each month, except July and December to sew on group projects personal projects. 9:30 until early afternoon. Dues are $15 per calendar year. Fountain Inn
Busy Bees Quilt Guild Guild
We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am at the Fountain Inn
Presbyterian Church located at 307 N. Main St., Fountain Inn SC, 29644. We
have approximately 70 members and each meeting starts with a short
hospitality session, followed by the business meeting, door prizes and
usually a program or speaker. We have a block of the month program, guild
challenges, a monthly sew day and a bi-monthly philanthropy only sew day. We
have our annual picnic in July and the guild auction and December holiday
gathering. We are one of the few daytime guilds in the Upstate of South

Foothills Piecemakers Quilt Guild
In February 1983,a group of 10 women gathered to see if they would like to start a quilt guild. The first organized meeting was held in May of that year and the Foothills Piecemakers Quilting Guild was formed. The guild presented its first quilt show in 1985, and currently presents a quilt show in the Greenville, SC area in even-numbered years. These three words describe the Foothills Piecemakers Quilting Guild: INSPIRATION: The talents of our guild members serve as inspiration for growth and self-expression to other members. DICHOTOMY: The nuances of differences between the members create a masterpiece scrap quilt of personalities. HORIZON: We’re stretching to the future by expanding our imagination and our goals. Currently, we have 90 members. Our fiscal years runs from July 1 to June 30th the following year. Yearly dues are $20. Guild meetings start at 6:45 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Elks Club, 7700 Pelham Road, Greenville SC. Monthly meetings include a business meeting and program, Show and Share, and fellowship over refreshments. Our guild supports many charities through our philanthropic work.

The Needlers Quilt Guild: We have 19 members who pay $20.00 a year in dues.
Our meetings are held at 10:am, at the Turner House, located on Bailey Circle
in Greenwood. We meet on the second Saturday of each month, except for
November & December, our meeting are held on the first Saturday of the month.
We have show & tell at each meeting. Work shops are held several times a year.
Our Guild takes a trip to Pegion Forge each year to the Quilt Fest. Quest
speakers and vender are invited to our meetings from time to time. We
participate in the Art Guild’s exhibits in Greenwood. Each year we make a

Heath Springs
Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Heath Springs Baptist Church. There are 25 members. We are participating in a block of the month for traditional quilters and an alternate block of the month for applique
quilters, classes, trips, weekend quilt projects and yearly projects for
charity. Membership is $20. Nurturing beginning quilters and challenging

Hilton Head
The Palmetto Quilt Guild. We have about
150+ members who pay $35 a year in dues. We meet at 1pm on the third
Thursday of the month, except August and December, at the Hilton Head Beach
& Tennis Resort, 40 Folley Field Road, Hilton Head Island, SC. We have
nationally known speakers at our meetings with workshops the following day.
We also have several “bees” that meet regularly.
Lancaster.
Magic Needle Quilt Guild. The Magic Needle Quilt Guild meets the second Thursday of each month at 10a in the Van Wyck Community Center, 5036 Old Hickory Rd. Sew-ins, classes, demos, and community service sewing are just some of our activities. We currently have approximately 25 active members of all skill levels and annual dues are $20. Landrum
Landrum Quilters, We have 120 members who pay $20 annually in dues. We meet at 9:30 am on the second Thursday of the month at the Gowensville Community Center, near the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 14. Our bee takes place on the fourth Monday at 9:30 in the same location. We sponsor a biennial quilt show in odd-numbered years and an Airing of the Quilts on alternate years. Philanthropy projects include Ronald McDonald and Hospice lap quilts, tote bags and pillowcases for the Hope Center for Children, and monthly food and health times for a shelter for victims of domestic abuse. Lexington
Threads of Time
Established in 2006, Threads of Time Quilt Guild is located in Lexington, SC. Threads of Time’s purpose is to promote, stimulate, educate, and maintain interest in all matters regarding quilts and quilting. Threads of Time is a charitable organization, registered with the State of South Carolina.
Monthly meetings are held 2nd Saturday of each month at St.Stephens Lutheran Church, 119 N Church Street, Lexington, SC 29072. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall located on the Butler Street side. Look for the pink signs! There is free parking available in the lot across from the Fellowship Hall on Butler Street. Again, look for the signs. Doors open at 9:30 am for socializing. Meeting begins at 10 am. Light refreshments are served at each meeting. Dues are $24 for one year.
We are a welcoming, friendly, inclusive group of all ages who are learning and loving all things quilting. We encourage visitors! Visitors may visit up to two times before officially joining, so feel free to invite visitors so they can experience the great things our guild has to offer. We strive to present a program at every meeting. Annually, we enjoy a guild challenge, silent auction, and holiday party. The Comfort Quilts committee, within our guild, supports QOV (Quilts of Valor), Sister Care, DSS (Dept. of Social Services) and Chemo Quilts by creating and donating quilts to these organizations. Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild.
We meet the second Monday of each month in the GYM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1100 Log Shoals Road, Mauldin (a suburb of Greenville, SC). Dues are $20 a year. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. with a brief business meeting followed by Show & Tell and a quilt-related program. Members enjoy the opportunity to participate in fabric swaps, Block of the Month, Round Robins, Secret sisters. Each year we produce a fundraiser quilt. Half of the funds raised benefit a local charity. We sponsor a quilt show in odd numbered years on the first weekend in October in conjunction with the local Aunt Het Festival in Fountain Inn, SC. With a little over 50 members we support our local Habitat for Humanity Chapter, supporting and congratulating those families who complete their house with a quilt for each member of their household. Coastal Carolina Quilters. We have over 150 members, many are snowbirds from Canada who arrive in the winter months. the organization meets in Oceanside Village Community Building. Pieceful Hearts Quilt Guild
meets at the Lake Park Baptist Church, 211 Milledge Rd, Augusta, GA 30904. The Pieceful Hearts Quilters Guild meets monthly for fellowship and to encourage a common interest in the art of quilt making. Members share a desire to promote and perpetuate all aspects of quilt making. Knowledge, techniques and skills are shared with each other and the community through club programs, community outreach projects and demonstrations. In addition, the guild periodically invites professional guest instructors to present workshops and seminars. The guild hosts a quilt show every other year (odd years). We welcome members from the entire CSRA area, in both Georgia and South Carolina.

The Starlight quilters meet the first and Third Tuesday of the month at the
Edisto Gardens Art Center 6:30 – 8:30 pm during the standard daylight time,
