Tennessee Valley Quilters Association
The Tennessee Valley Quilters Association (TVQA) is a regional non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote interest in and an appreciation for quilts and quilt making. Our membership spans the Tennessee River valley to include quilt guilds from Tennessee and Alabama, as well as a few members from other states. Heritage Quilt
Guild meets at the McMinn County Heritage Museum, 522 W. Madison Ave, Athens, TN
We have around 30 members, from beginners to very experienced. Some hand piece and hand quilt, some do it all on a machine, some have long arm machines. We have NO QUILT POLICE! We celebrate all abilities. Our programs always have some business, show and tell, and a program. Frequently the programs are teaching techniques, some hands on, some presented by vendors. Annually we assist the Museum in putting on a quilt show during the month of October. We support Quilts of Valor and make a raffle quilt yearly, as well has have a retreat. Dues ar $20 annually. The Redbud Trail Quilt Guild is open to anyone in southeastern Kentucky. We

Maury Quilters. Our guild has approximated 40 members, a diverse group of beginners to advanced quilters, professional quilters, shop owners, a national known teacher and quilt lovers of all types . Maury Quilters’ is active in community projects such as making quilts for a local women’s shelter, making “comfort” pillows for the local cancer center and making seasonal wall hangings to hang in our new Children’s Room of the local library. The Lincoln County Piecemakers are an active guild located in southern Middle Tennessee. We enjoy making quilts for several charitable organizations as well as our police officers who use these quilts at the scene of an accident to calm and comfort any injured or traumatized children. January 2006 brings us a new president, Mrs. Muse, with a new vision and ideas for the guild’s future involvements. New members are welcome to this ever-growing guild. We have many optional activities to join, program each month, showing off our finished projects at the end of our mtgs and have newbies and experienced quilters as members who also might do other needlework. The Happy Hearts Quilt Guild meets on the first Friday of every month at the First United Methodist Church, 621 Old Stage Road in Surgoinsville, TN. Our purpose is to educate, share, promote and keep alive the craft and tradition of quilt-making to our members. HHQG has a yearly challenge quilt which is judged along with other quilts at the Heritage Days Festival in Rogersville, TN every October. We offer monthly education classes and make quilts that are donated to various charity organizations. Also, are fat quarter give aways, element of the month blocks and more. We do not pay dues, but we have a silent auction each year to benefit the club. We have a block of the month pattern, classes, and a yearly quilting retreat. Friendship Quilters Guild

We have about 65 members who pay $35.00 in yearly dues, a portion of which goes to Tennessee Valley Quilters Association, our mother organization. We meet at 10:00 on the second Saturday of each month. We have a variety of programs including quilt classes, mystery quilts, guild challenges, guest teachers and lectures, trunk shows, and much more. Come and be part of the family! Sewcial Quilters Guild
Sewcial Quilters guild started in January 2016 with a small group of quilters that wanted a circle of quilting friends that would gather and share fellowship and knowledge with other quilters. We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00pm at 208 Jefferson Pike Smyrna, TN 37167. We are part of the TN Valley Quilters Association (TVQA). Marion County. Stitchin’ Sisters Quilt Guild. We have a core group of 20 or so members who pay $25/year in dues with $15 used to secure membership in TVQA. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 5:30 p.m. central time at the Sequachee Valley Electric Co-op Community Meeting Room. We have a fat quarter lotto, gift exchange, member-led classes, guest instructors, annual participation in National Cornbread Festival, and three quarterly day trips to local quilt shops or museums and one annual major trip or retreat. Stitch Show and Share Quilt Guild We have about 35 members who pay $15 a year in dues. We meet at 10am on the third Saturday of the month at the First United Methodist Church in town. We have monthly challenges, do a show in even years and a retreat in odd years, sew charity quilts for Ronald McDonald House and local nursing homes. Girls Night Out Quilting Society meets the 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Tullahoma Presbyterian Church on East Lincoln St. We have about 25 members and always welcome guests and new members. Dues are $22 per yr. ($15 for TVQA and $12 for the guild) We have monthly programs / classes, a 5th Saturday Sew among many other exciting things. We have a small meal/snacks at each meeting. HEIRLOOM QUILTERS. We have just completed two workshops on Gai Perry’s Impressionist Landscape. We have sent over 300 cuddle quilts to Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. White Bluff
Courthouse Quilt Guild, We started in July 1997. Our dues are $25.00 per year, with $10.00 to the local and $15.00 to TVQA. We meet the 2nd Monday night at the White Bluff Church of Christ on Hwy 70 in White Bluff, at 5:00 pm, business at 6:30 pm. There is an all day working for projects or UFOs on the 4th Saturday of each month. We have a project at each monthly meeting.
